Never been to a baseball game. Wife (no pics) bought us tickets for the Florida game on 03/24. It appears we need to now purchase parking passes? If so, help a baw out. We'll be sitting behind 3rd base if that matters. TIA

Free parking in the Hayfield lots between the Box and River Road. Or pay $15 via credit card to park in the Golf Course Lot across the street from the Champions Lot.

plenty of free parking available
you don't need a pass unless you want to pay for that

Park across from Tiger Stadium, all Free. Drive out towards Downtown and circle back wherever you need to get to after.

No need to pay unless your wife is mobility impaired.
Plenty of free parking in the lots across from the old Box on Skip Bertman Dr. or just across Nicholson opposite the new Box.
It's so much easier to get out of there from those locations and you are able to bypass contraflow like you couldn't do in the pay to park lots.

Park in the hayfield lots. Go River Rd. to get there and you won't hit any traffic and its easy to get out too. Season ticket holder and park there every game.

This is my go to. Super simple to get out after the game and not a bad walk at all.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I'm retired but we both are fine to walk as far as we need to.

Yeah I like this area. Corner of Nicholson and Burbank. Plenty of parking and easy in and out.

If you have a handicap drop tag, you can park in the Hall of Fame lot for free
