Need Help...My son pulls for the Gumps. What should I do? he's 15 .... his best friends dad got him into BAMA:(
Is your wife a big LSU fan? If not, tell your wife how important it is to you that your son is an LSU fan, and she'll probably respect that and help you out (especially if you promise to help her out in return with something that is important to her).
One thing I recommend is for both your and your wife to make your home into an LSU home. Hang an LSU flag in front of your house, start acquiring a collection of LSU memorabilia and proudly display it in your home. Buy LSU clothes for you and your wife, and both of you wear them often. Get season tickets to LSU home games and take your wife and son to every game. Get involved with some friends that tailgate at LSU games so that your son gets the full game day experience. If you can't go to every LSU home game, at least go to as many as you can reasonably afford (even if just for the tailgating). For any LSU game that you don't go to, sit down and watch every LSU game on TV, with your wife, and get your wife to help you out by acting like she loves LSU football (if she doesn't already). And it doesn't just apply to Tiger football, bring your child to as many LSU events as possible... LSU basketball games and LSU baseball games are very fun to watch and a great parent/child experience.
Basically, the more and more you show that you and your wife are an LSU family, your the more and more your son is going to start believing that being an LSU fan is part of who is he, who his family is.

Don't worry my son was/is an Auburn fan. He is just being rebellious and will grow out of it. If he doesn't, write him out of your will.

You might as well kill yourself; you're already dead.

Your parenting skills seem like they need some work... What kind of riff-raff are you allowing him to hang out with? (his best friend's dad got him on to bama??? - c'mon). Also, as mentioned earler, a paternity test should be considered - his gene pool may be "polluted".
