Neck is only cool in certain adults only settings that are appropriate.
Not cool to do during a game on national TV with children nearby and watching.
Totally fun if you’re around other college kids and chant it at opposing college age and up fans.

I like Neck, but I agree it's not always appropriate to play it with little ones around. They will come to learn the song in time.

Right Above It has become the new Neck. They do the chant to the tune of it now. The 2019 Natty after the Marshall TD when Burrow was shown on the sideline doing the chant, it was to Right Above It, not Neck.

Josh Pate did a section of CFB traditions & after 5-6-7 stadiums, he stopped, laffed, & said "And then there LSU's Tiger Stadium's "neck". Won't get into it as this is a G rated show but neck stands alone, at the top." And then gave another long laff & moved on.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I was in ROTC at LSU (The Ole War Skule). Part of that gig involved working portal security at games and then standing as a deterrent to folks going onto the field after the games.
As we were working the games, we were seated directly in front of the Golden Girls. Yeah, it was awkward and obvious to turn around, especially those games where my (pregnant) wife worked the game with me.

I wish they played this more often.
The original Neck (before they sped it up, etc), was right there with this.
Set aside the student section's antics, Neck - in its original form from LSU - is better than any of these renditions I hear from around the country.
