I don't care if it's a difficult schedule. Honestly the top teams in the conference should have the other top teams in the conference as permanents, and the lower teams in the conference should do the same with the other lower teams.
If your 3 permanents are the tougher teams then that means the remaining 12 that rotates are more dense with the lower teams anyway and vice versa if the lower teams have each other as permanents, so I'd rather keep the teams I'm most excited to play every year as permanents, and in my lifetime that's been Bama/Auburn/Florida.
I'm sure ESPN has something to say about it too. LSU/Bama has been one of the highest rated games of the CFB season every year for the past 15 years or so, I believe they'll fight to keep that a yearly game, and if that means Bama has LSU/Auburn/Tenn and Auburn will get UGA/Bama/LSU it seems to even out for all the top teams to make it semi-fair.
