The 2 out rally crew never did jack shite at the old box, no big deal about not being able to hear them.

At least you could hear Chris and the K Lady no matter where you were at the old box. Not so much this time. You could still hear Chris, but not the K Lady.

ETA: The new stadium is freakin' sweet. There's nothing to complain about. The people complaining about something are people that nothing is ever perfect for them.

PS. ETA: The concession lines weren't that bad. They were slow, but it didn't kill me.

gonna be tough to get that approved by the state since Nicholson is a state highway (been thought about though for sure...not sure the feasibility though with 18-wheelers and and train track right off the road)

great idea though if it would be possible

The Blue Bayou crosswalk over Highland road is over a state highway. So that wouldn't be very hard to get approved.

Concessions were just bad.. They were slow because they somehow dont know how to do simple math. lol Seriously they had 4X the workers i have ever seen at a football game but were 4x slower. (But it was opening night so I can expect that)

I love the stadium though. But these are things that they can and should improve on.. Doest make sense to me that they have TVs on the concorse concessions to see the game but no TVs on the outfield concessions that have zero view of the field unlike the concourse.

Yeah on TV the helicopter made it sound like a war was going on.

Catman, were the seats themselves more comfortable?

The park was awesome. But I was very disappointed they sold out of programs. Seems like they would have printed extra for the opening game. I REALLY wanted one since it was the first one and would be a collector's item.

4ever...just go back tomorrow. I am certain that LSU didn't frick up and not print enough for the whole weekend. My parents, like many others, will be attneding for the first time tomorrow and hopefully they get 1.

A year ago, they might have sold 200 programs for opening night.

i disagree.

that jumbo tron/scoreboard has to be moved. it's nearly impossible for people in the outfield and along the end of the 3rd base line to see

I was hoping they would show the action (batter) on the screen real time, like they do in football. I'm in the next to last section on the third base side and you can't tell if it's a strike or ball. Would be nice to have the screen to look at during the pitch.

I didn't think about the fact they would have it tomorrow, too. I'll be there.

Showing the game realtime is against the rules when it is a televised game. You can only show replays.
