Prepare for Tigerbumps. That is LSU equivalent of goosebumps when the first note of pregame is sounded(although mine start with the drum cadence from the lead-in).

mine started when I read this post.

Chance of Rain....Never!
Drum Major Salute

Man, I wish I could be there this weekend. Can't wait for Washington.

I echo this sentiment. I believe that it is fine to go to a smaller game the first time - smaller crowds, easier ticket availability, but for the real experience, you have to see an Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida, Bama or Arkansas game, preferably when both teams are good and the outcome is in question as late as the middle of the third quarter (or later).

Little in my experience tops 1995 Auburn, 2007 Florida or 2009 Bama (my top 3, in-person, gameday experiences) because the intensity of those 3 games, in particular, was palpable and undeniable.

Going with my brother. He's been to quite a few and the way he describes it is amazing. So, is it supposed to rain there tomorrow or is it kinda up in the air on the weather situation?

You will quickly learn that it never rains in Tiger Stadium

There are no small games in TS only small fans.

As a sports fan, there are things I'd like to experience before I die.

I'd like to go to a game at South Bend, when it's nice and cool, and see ol' Touchdown JC.

I'd like to go to Kyle Field, and walk on the grass, and jack w/Aggies.

I'm glad that my team plays at a place that should be on everyone else's list.

Bringing a couple first timers myself, I can't wait for them to experience the tailgate/stadium atmosphere!

Just be warned, no drinking of booze allowed in TS. If the game is a blowout & you have binoculars, keep an eye on the student section as the game goes on. And if it's raining, keep your eyes on them the whole game: picture 15,000 wet t shirts on drunk coeds.
