My experience at the Citrus Bowl

Sucked. Obviously the game was atrocious, the most uninspiring first half I've seen in person. Especially for a bowl game.
But aside from the shite show of a game, the weather was miserable. I've been working in South Florida since September, and I haven't experienced cold in a while lol. The constant mist blowing in the wind made 50 feel awful!
Now the Citrus Bowl itself. We were hungry when we got inside the stadium. Found a concession stand and asked "what's a big game dog"? Lady says, oh, we don't have any of them, just regular hot dogs. I needed 8. They eventually come back with 8, buns were crushed and stale af. Did they not realize a game was going on there that day? (I literally asked her this)
Then of course they sell 20 oz drinks and they have to keep the bottle caps. (Can someone explain this to me?)
Top it all off with the 10000 people that showed up to watch LSU and Notre Dame. I assume the weather had something to do with that, but damn the crowd sucked!
TL/DR---Citrus Bowl sucked arse and the Tiger Stadium concessions are >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> than the Citrus Bowls.

They keep the bottle tops to make it harder for some douche bag to hum
a full drink onto the field. At least that's what I was told at the Superdome when I went about a month ago.

Funny, some yahoo had a thread earlier in the week about how amazing the crowd was and that easily 60k showed up LOLOL
On TV it looked like a high school game crowd.
Sorry for the wet arse and bad hot dogs, baw. Thanks for supporting the tigers on the road!

Pregame and halftime "entertainment" was cringe worthy. Fan experience as a whole was awful. Also didn't feel like any pump-up music was being played for big LSU defensive moments. Felt like Notre Dame got Crazy Train each third down.

Not sure about that stadium, but when I asked someone at the Smoothie King Center a few years ago they told me it kept people from throwing them on the court

Really should have played Notre Damn in Shreveport. Stadium would have been full and it would have seemed like another home game.

Feels like it's been raining every time we lose to ND. I remember last time they were in BR - it was miserable, rainy, and we lost. DiNardo days, IIRC.

We put 3 or 4 bottle in our clear bag whenever we go to a sporting event for this reason. No one has ever said anything.

Every New Orleanian I know is well aware of how to throw a cup full of beer in any direction and keep it full. How do you think we get coconuts at Zulu? Parade riders have to drink too, you know.
