I was there and was impressed by the atmosphere. The people around us were very nice as well. It’s a weird place and they do weird things but I’ve had worse experiences to away games.
I will point out that College Station doesn’t have much going for it and it is definitely a one time visit for me.

The northgate area was pretty nice and we had an easy time leaving

I was also surprised how empty it seems on campus. It seemed completely dead until maybe 2 hours before kick off. Overall I enjoyed the experience but don’t really need to go back. Their post game traffic plan is definitely better than LSU’s but it’s also a huge arse campus so that probably helps some.

Didnt visit Northgate, but we parked by the bonfire memorial. Was a bit surprised there was no traffic getting there around 2pm.
The campus was nice, not sure why so many have an issue with it. Tailgating was pretty non existent from what we seen.
Just almost seemed like a pro game around the stadium with all the bounce houses, vendor booths etc.

I think A$M will be a real force going forward.

You missed out, that was the best part of CS
The second best part are the free refill machines for the drinks. I loved the fact that I could put my bourbon in first and then add my coke
