"My dad". That says it all.

Does he ever mention Charles Alexander or Tommy Cassanova? Since he's so ancient and all..

Gary James loved to run out of bounds....not as talented as Hill...

Hill reminds me of Faulk more than James.

What? Faulk was a 5'9" jitterbug type runner. Hill does remind me of Cecil or a more powerful Rondell Mealley.

Charles Alexander is the correct answer. James was all abouspeed. Hill has nearly the same running style as Alexander.

Collins is not a bad comparison either, though I think Collins may have been a little faster.

James was shorter, not a power back.. Wouldn't agree with this comparison. Think C. Collins.

Hill = Marcus Allen

Allen was not as heavy but very similar running styles.

FWIW, not a good comparison with James. To totally different backs.

Hill has the power of Jim Brown and Hershal Walker, with the speed of Bo Jackson and the moves of Barry Sanders.

I think that's the only fair comparison at this point.

Gary was more of a bruiser imo, at least thats how I remember him.

PS My brother ran James down from behind in a HS game and we are caucasian. CSB.

I though James was the punisher in the james/hilliard duo

no comparison to Gary James. Hill is a big power back with good speed. Gary James was a speed back with not much power. I don't see any comparison at all.

I agree though, lets not get ahead of ourselves. People need to go re-watch film of Cecil before they start that kind of comparison.

My memory is terrible I guess. I thought he was a bruiser type back. Oh well...
