My 8 y/o's first LSU game(advice)

Taking my son to his first LSU game Saturday. I haven't been to a game in a while. I hear lots has changed. Parking and a contra flow setup now? I will basically be lost as to what to do. Coming up Nicholson from Gonzales. Where should I park? How early should we arrive? I have an offer to bring my vehicle ahead of time and be dropped off. Would that be necessary? Also, what time could we catch the band coming down the hill? Thanks!

Have a great time! I didn't go to my first LSU game until I was a student, would've loved to grow up going to games..make some memories!

Got the #7 jersey covered. He is an excited little boy. Good grades don't come easy to this little fella. You know, not one of the " My kid has a 4.2 at Harvard"types. He puts in tons of effort just to maintain at school. Proud of his effort beyond words. He deserves a really fun day.

My dad took me when I was 8. Been a long time. David Woodley was QB! I still remember just being in complete awe of the stadium and crowd noise.

Why did it take you 8 years??? Just kidding... 
I just took my son to his first game last year at 7 also, and Spring Game at 6. Any younger runs a risk of an early exit.
