Delta.com special.

We're driving, but figured some will choose this option for a quick weekend.

Same price. DL has more flight options and destinations for rewards, though.

I never checked because we were always driving, but I just got the Delta Fall Fare Sale email.

Airtran has had them as low as $44 each way over the past few months. As of a couple days ago it's $59 each way before fees.

Well when I fly and think nothing of it just like you get in your car and go to the office...... you get used to flying and the convenience. Since we are not packing tailgating supplies, I'll hop on a plane as usual.

Well on one hand its 19 hours round trip... you are looking at the bulk of two days on each end of the trip.

I can be up there the morning of the game, and back Sunday around noon..... won't miss too much here with the family and be back in time for Labor day stuff.

Our only reason for driving in this case. I think we're flying to BNA and GNV (or JAX).

Auburn and Little Rock are both too hard to get to via plane based on the drive time to each.

Agreed. I always try to make my decision on door to door time.

"If I walk out of my door @ 9am and get to the hotel (after all the crap to get there after flying) at 3PM, could I have driven and still gotten there in the same amount of time?"
