I agree it really is a combo for me of Bama and poor play/coaching....but GD I hate losing to those smug bastards at anything!!
And I also agree this is going to linger for a while!! this stink can negatively influence everything from recruiting to TAF donations!!

Agree or not???
Can't speak for others, but for me it wasn't so much the loss but rather the way it went down.
Bama and LSU are pretty even IMO, and, if both play their best games, LSU comes out just a bit ahead, I think. Mostly due to better kicking game, better receivers.
But that was a just a weird performance by the Tigers. Unforced errors, no emotion, etc...things they just haven't done this year very much. They've played so many big games this year and been behind, so it's hard to believe it was nerves. I just didn't recognize the team on the field Monday. It's hard to wrap my mind around this one.
If they would have played a relatively solid game but say, turned the ball over a few times and lost, then I'd be upset about the loss but I'd get over it pretty quickly.

Yeah saban's celebration added to it. But the fact is if any team shut us out and we called the game the same way, it would suck just as much. We all knew saban and bama is good. Think about what it would be like if oklahoma st. Did that to us? (impossible i know) We would be the laughing stock of the SEC.
It being a great bama team and saban probably made it better for me... As much as I'd hate to admit that.

I agree no other team could have done what BAMA did to us...particularly the shut out. I too am still having a problem wrapping my head around the product we put on the field Monday....just doesnt compute!!

I could not care a frick less about Bama right now. I want to know what the flying frick is going on with the program I have loved since I was 10 years old and am a proud alum. The program has been a jauggernaut for a decade and was yet still about to reach unprecedented heights that it has never seen, and then just seemed to say frick it. This wasn't a matter of a mere loss to Bama in a BSCNC, it was a complete lack of ineptitude and unaccountability that hasn't been witnessed in this program during this current century. I have never witnessed anything like I saw Monday night, by any team/staff in any game of any meaning. This has "potential future clusterfrick trickle down effects that can hamper the program down the road" written all over it with the confusion being witnessed by not only the fans but most importantly the players.

I do not hate Bama.
I hate all of the SEC teams equally.
