Reminds me of a particular Auburn game with Jamie Howard. Of course, play calling had alot to do with that but the INTs were thrown by Howard.

I hate blaming Howard for that game. There is absolutely no reason why we should have thrown the ball after the third quarter.

People need to go watch Jefferson at Destrehan. I mean how do you people think Jefferson and Molten got schollies? Cuz they had a connection and JJ was able to hit Molten in stride 55 yards down field.

He didn't just lose that. He clearly has an extremely strong arm.

540 yds of offense against UGA, and Lee threw for 3 TDs and 290 yds. He played a great game.

And 2 interceptions for 14 points for Georgia.

We were running all over Georgia. He lost that game for us. There is no way around it.

Well msutiger? Which stats do you think are the most important for a QB?

Jesus when people get asked to describe their complaints using specifics it gets awfully quiet around here..

I'll start. The most important stats for a QB [in order] are:
1) TD/INT ratio
2) Completion Percentage
3) # players with reception (spread it around)
4) Yards Per Attempt
5) Total yards

MSU, don't you have some McNeese St. Cowboy shite to concern yourself with??? After JJ has some success in games that you already have us losing, maybe you could spare us the negative vomit you spew on these threads a/b JJ's inefficiencies...........

I guess those 232 yards of rushing didn't help. And you're right, I'd love for our QB to go 14-28 with 3 int's and 2 pick 6's...the TD's are irrelevant in that sitution because of all the turnovers. The reason we even had so much offense is because we threw 2 pick 6's so we had the ball way more.

You're absolutely retarded if you think that Lee's two pick sixes and third int did not lose that game.

Not saying the defense didn't also contribute to that loss. They did; they were terrible. But to act like, Lee played well is just lying to yourself.

I agree, but its an example how INTs and poor game management will lose a game that could otherwise have been easily won.

If Lee doesn't throw any picks in that game, do we lose?

Antonio, we all know he threw two pick sixes against UGA, but if I told you that we were going to have 540 yds of offense and score 38 points at home against UGA, should we have won? The defense could not stop a drive to save their life, and their improvement from last year to this year is what is winning us ball games.

This is not an offense, or a QB, who can take this team on its shoulders and win a game for us. JJ can't do it and JL can't do it. Thats why we are all so upset, is because after 3 games, we ALL can see the writing on the wall. If our defense falters or has even ONE mis-step, we will lose. We have not put an offense on the field that can overcome our lackluster defensive play since 2007. We could not overcome our defensive play against UGA last year, and we will not overcome our defense in 2009 when they finally falter.

As the defense goes in 2009, so will the team. You must be sippin some nice purple kool-aid if you think our offense will go out there and win one by themselves, and most fans are frustrated because we have been used to prolific offenses. You can ride JJ or JL's dick all season if you want, but we do not have an offense for either of them that is capable of doing a damn think without stellar defensive play. Its as simple as that.

I was at that game lee was a disaster threw a pick six on a short roll out on the very first play. Ga had a big lead the whole game thanks to lee. It's easy to get stats when you have to throw every down!

I bet he had Allot of yardage v. Fla. to.!

JJ 64% pass comp. % 6.5 yrd av..
lee 53% pass comp.% 6.9 yrds average 2008 he did not throw down feild pluss he SET THE NCAA RECORD FOR PICK SIX IN A SEASON.

Another thing overlooked. Jefferson is a running QB, so when talking about his numbers passing, add in his rushing yards to get his total.

UW- 172 yards passing 3 TD's 42 rushing yards...214 total
Vandy- 138 passing, 18 rushing....156 total
ULL- 165 passing 2 td's 1 int, 25 rushing...190 total

All the sudden that doesn't look as bad considering he has a whopping 1 turnover.
