Lets see here. Last year LSU scored about 31 PPG. This year they are scoring about 20 PPG. OK, Where is the problem?? Put LEE in to just change things up a bit. YOU NEVER KNOW what he could do IF you give him a chance.

Good thread 7 Moves. I have hope that this week, which will hereafter be known as "The Great Sandy Vag Week of 2009" will get better after Saturday when we have an actual game to look forward to.
I think the combination of an off week with a loss to Florida and a poor offensive showing in that loss, flushed some of the more defeatist posters into the open. Kind of like doomsday cults come to the fore at certain times like the millenium and such.

I guess YOU think I am A DOOMER!! Well thats fine. BUT I respect your positive attitude towards this team. I however think NOTHING IS going to change, and it PISSES ME off to pay a coach $4mill to have a 109th rated offense when he seems to get ALL these 5 star recruits!!!

I believe that AU and Ark are winnable games. I don't what to think of Miss cause no one knows what's going on with their O/QB. It's there, so a toss up unless they start to get their act together. Bama should be a good game, but the lean has to go to them.
8-4 or 9-3 would be my guess which would be an improvement over last season and perhaps end all the "decline of the program" talk.
But I have to agree with those who say we have to play better in the 2nd half of the season and I am hopeful that we will.

With a devoloping QB and a rebuilt OLine you'd think more realitigers would just STFU and understand that maybe it's not just the coaching? And who the hell do we lose to? I'd say if we lose to Alabama and Arkansas or Ole Miss it would meet most people expectations at the beginning of the season with 3 losses. We could finish with 4 or 1 loss but what f*ckin gives people the right to say shyt like this whenever we ARE 5-1 and we only play 2 ranked teams the rest of the way? Who the hell CAN'T we beat? Thats what i wanna know. Alot of you are Half Assed Throw in the Towel lets get all the coaches out fairweather b*tchass wannabe's, i wouldn't even call you fans......

It's underperforming when we gain 161 yards of total offense and don't cross midfield in the second half. It's terrible that five offensive linemen cannot block three pass rushers.

I don't need to wait for the inevitable. If there are dark clouds, a cool breeze and my dog's goint apesh!t, I know it's going to rain. This team hasn't played consistently well in a long, long time. I can't see it any other way. Way too many STUPID mistakes. No attention to detail. No leadership. We get by on talent alone. When's the last time we beat a team we weren't supposed to?
