Most neglected fact on this board. MVB WAS A TRUE FRESHMAN in Sole SEC games

I want you to look up what Underwood's stats were vs OU and Nebraska. Nebraska would've been the easiest game that MVB would've had to play last year. He played a sole SEC schedule that consisted of 1st 2 games on the road vs CFP Top 5 teams (most difficult thing you can do in CF is be a true freshman QB with first 2 starts on the road at 2 AP Top 5 SEC teams). 6 of the 8 were verse Top 20 teams. He did remarkably well as a true freshman averaging 7.4 YPA against mostly Top 12 teams. Nuss is 6.0 YPA against Power 4 teams this year, 2 of whom were 1-3 entering this week.
The leap between true freshman to 2nd year is very large at QB if you played a lot your true freshman year. I've yet to see a post or comment detail this fact. It's like they all assume he was a 4th year senior last year, and this is his 5th year. Last year's perfmorance people are pointing to, he was a few months removed from high school.
I do not believe an injured Nuss is better than MVB. If you believe otherwise, then you're just wrong.

Make it stop. Nuss is the starting QB, and BK will be the coach next season.

I watched several games last year with MVB. His team was HORRIBLE and I was actually extremely impressed with how composed he was in games. He actually looked as good as he could in several games. I think this is why LSU got him in the portal. They probably thought the same thing we did how good could he be with a team around him? Not saying he's the answer or even if he'd do anything this year, just seems unfair to this team not to find out? Especially if Nuss keeps playing like he is.

He's been trash since showing up at Lsu. He likely won't be on the roster next season.

What makes you think that? The only time we've saw him was in the Southeastern game and he looked good in that game. He had an injury on his hand in camp. Don't know if that ever fully healed.

Not sure what you mean there. But he didn't soley play in SEC games, though it was close. He also played 1 game vs UMass.
All the other games he started were SEC games.
