Bama '05 was my honorable mention...I actually had a write up for it
LSU vs. Alabama 2005
It still somewhat amazes me that LSU fans weren’t completely won over by JR after this performance. Then again, I’m told he’s been somewhat of a bust in the pro’s…Anyway, when #5 LSU rolled into to T-town to face the #4 undefeated Crimson Tide, a lot was on the line. The game virtually was a Western Divisional championship game and the winner kept hope alive to sneak into the national championship game. Down 10-0 at half time, Russell kept the Tigers in the game with several big-time plays, none bigger than a strike to Dwayne Bowe in the end-zone to seal a come-from-behind 16-13 victory in OT.
LSU vs. State 2000 was awesome. I was on the like the 3rd row at the 50 (my arse is usually on the top row.) I didn't include it since that was pretty much the last time State was worth a crap.
LSU vs. Bame '07...as sweet as it was...but considering what's happened since, w/ Saban being top dog now bar none...it's not so "important" (though obviously we needed the W to win the west)...it felt huge at the time...we were a much better team than they were though
