This is an old one. Tommy Wilcox going to Bama.
He played QB for Bonnabel High in the late 70's. Actually face Bobby Hebert's South Lafouche team
in state finals. He ended up a DB at Bama.

i wished travis minor would have played for lsu.but i didnt mention him because a few years back his dad was killed by a drunk driver.me and his dad les worked together.

I was watching Joe's press conference online and refreshing the TD.com thread at the same time..quite entertaing if I recall. The whole "YES! I just saw an LSU gold hat go under the podium." to the "Oh no! That's USC gold!!"

I must be the only person in Louisiana who doesn't think Joe McKnight owes me or LSU anything. I hate USC as much as anyone, but I just don't see how LSU fans can consume themselves with hate for a kid who made a choice to attend an excellent school and play for an excellent football coach and program. We won the national championship without him and he had a decent year as a true freshman at USC. Seems like we should all be happy.

You are the second person who has taken this thread way to seriously. there are 53 days until football season, we are just trying to fill in the gaps with BS commentary because dandy don, ESPN, athlon, etc. cannot give us our CFB fix.

since when has the rant been so damn serious. hell, i had to get a new name because I got kicked off for saying that "everytime LSU has an average skilled white boy playing qb we seem to win the NC" on a post after RP got kicked off and everyone was freaking out. Everything is getting way too serious on here.

I agree, but I could understand the animosity since LSU wanted him bad, he indicated they were in the running, but it seemed like he didn't really seriously consider LSU. It also seems like alot of the players mentioned in this thread weren't heavily recruited by LSU, if they were recruited at all. There's a distinction between players who really spurned LSU, and those that weren't really recruited, but went on and had great college and even in some cases great pro careers. No reason to hate on those guys.
