i think Byrd also...besides the big Auburn and Alabama catches in 07 he really hasnt done that much to impress me...

Who are u to impress. With a capable qb such as JR/RP Byrd would have been one of the best deep threats LSU would have had in a while. If you have a bad qb any great receiver looks bad,,,ie see Moss in Oakland,

Byrd for sure. You don't have to like what the coaches do but you do need to do your part.

incorrect. byrd is a GREAT wr. Just not a good leader. In college that is just as or more important then talent.

im not but both of those plays he ran a go route and beat his corner barely. he isnt a real solid route runner, and he definitely needs improvement on down field blocking..but by the reaction of this topic i think many people were disappointed with Byrds play this year

I can agree with this. Lafell and TT were the best 2 WRs on the team.

is this really even up for discussion?

BYRD hands down.

coming into the year we were so high on him it wasnt even funny. everyone though he was a first round lock.

its not that he doesnt have the talent, he just has a bad attitude.

when Lee was struggling Byrd did nothing to help, you could tell that he had basically given up.

i just know some people who were always talking bad about Jefferson. said things like if Lee was in the game against Ole Miss and Arkansas we would have won those games cause Lees more of a solid quarterback...but i always liked Jefferson, he looked really impressive against Georgia Tech..n no means am i trying to bad talk Jefferson
