If we were to win every game we play by an average of 48-14, we would still have a boatload of "fans" who would complain because we weren't winning by an average of 56-0.

That was more about timing and the optics of losing him to a next door neighbor in the same conference. That would have been a VERY bad look. After a great class and another on the way to go with what looks to be a much better offense, if he left to go somewhere outside the SEC or the NFL now, it wouldn’t be the same level of problem, real or perceived.
