I think the hope for Moore is that he sits until the Ole Miss game. We won’t need him for southeastern, let him get some rest and pray we get by Florida without him

They can't. This is guesswork until they get the imaging.

I agree with your assessment on Chester. Depth just isn’t a thing with having to shell out big money for the starting 22. It’s what we got, he’s gotta step up. No point to shake the rest of the line up, gotta get their calls and shite together.

This post is idiotic. We know both players had injuries in those areas, but MRI results haven’t been released yet, so anything beyond that is just pure speculation.

I also wish we had at least 1 mauling guard. We don't have that either.

Absolutely agree, they went out and got a ton of head hunters on defense. The OL got their shite pushed in all night. I’m on the 48th row and heard the pop tech was bringing from up there. They were coming down head hunting, we gotta do the same on the OL.

This is information from LSU media. If you don’t want to believe it, then don’t.

Have you seen Coen Echols and Carius Curne?

If Moore has to miss Florida, then no point him seeing the field against Southeastern. Bring him back at Ole Miss.

Not having a back up center is on Brad. He recruited the kid from Many/Nac that didn’t even cut it for summer training and hasn’t developed anybody! Brad either coaches them up to learn how to run block this year or fire him!

Losing Moore for Florida sucks. Flashbacks to Nuss in The Swamp last year with Chester at C

While Chester may not be the best, at least he has starting experience.
Not only is he not the best, he is quite literally the worst. He was the worst graded center in all of college football last year.

We need to survive Florida, then we get a rent a win and an off week.

I have a hard time understanding how no one in that offensive line room isn’t a better option than Chester at C.

It is reasonably good news for LE injuries, on the whole.
Let's be optimistic - high ankle strains are quirky and very patient dependent. Even if we had to let Moore sit for Florida and play "limited" snaps against Southeastern, if full strength by Ole Miss or homecoming, that would almost be a "whew".
Green, on the other hand - MCL (I'm assuming) can be back as quickly as 2 or 3 weeks, but I will assume it is not mild and expect 4 weeks out as a "best case" and full strength, maybe 6 weeks, so aTm? (That does have him missing UF, and USCe as big games).
Both of these losses are critical, particularly for the redzone game. We obviously cannot get 3 yards of hard rushing when we need it with Moore out. Green is the big mismatch in the redzone for a passing target in the endzone.
There is no obvious replacement for Moore other than Chester. Chester has a lot of experience at the position and is a young player who could improve (we thought that improvement would be at guard). However, he appears to have a low ceiling at this point.
Now, as far as Green, we have Sharp as a "co-starter". Sharp had a good game against Clemson (fumble notwithstanding). That's something we can lean on, to a degree. We have another Green at TE (Donovan) who is not a complete noob, played a lot at aTm as a freshman and has 2 TDs - 1 versus Bama and 1 vs LSU. We have another 6'7" TE (young JD Lafleur). But we have no person on the roster with the combination of height, strength, athletic ability and speed to replace Trey'Dez's role in this offense - this hybrid WR/TE/basketball jump ball specialist.
LSU has not relied on any single target to move the ball on offense. So, that I'm less worried about. The bigger issue - can they find a mix of 5 down linemen who can adequately protect Nuss until Moore is back at full strength.

Flarda isn't beating us in Baton Rouge this year. Hopefully we have our men back to ready in Oxford.
