Just briefly glanced at the case but it seems to be saying women deserve equal opportunity to participate in college sports, to receive athletic scholarships, and equal opportunity to receive the same benefits as any varsity athlete.

I don't see where it says what settings those benefits have to be offered and that they all can't be fulfilled through a strictly female collegiate athletic experience

I still don't really know who this girl is. Is she popular just cause she's attractive?

4 year soccer scholly athlete I believe. Good looking girl. Made known the last couple seasons with her "Mo versus " videos where she challenged other LSU athletes in athletic competitions.

How is it that the second best goalie on the womens soccer team is the most popular person on campus? This is nothing more then an attention drawing move for her. Most people find her constant drawing attention to herself incredibly annoying. I wish the football team would concentrate on winning a national championship rather than catering some some girls attention needs.

If you really think she is going to take kicks away from alleman, who was clutch for us, your naive.

Oh and shes not hot, at all. See her in person.

You're probably one of those that's like "Her eyes are 1/4 inch too far apart. OT2, IWNHI."

Mo is a phenomenal ambassador for LSU, in every aspect you can imagine.
How some people can hate on her and make this a negative in any way is beyond me.
Some of you people really are terrible human beings.

A woman playing football threatens their masculinity or something.

What if she is good enough? This thread makes me laugh, there are some really ignorant people who pull for the same team as I and they provide quality entertainment.

Mo is definitely tall. She isn't "skinny", but she's far from being wide. That guy is trolling hard.

We actually agree that she shouldn't be on the team. I don't want her taking up a scholly.

you're under the illusion that she would earn a scholarship? or just trolling...

Every team typically has a couple of walk-on kickers that will never see the field. You need a few extra legs in practice, at most she would get to kick an extra point against a scrub team.

My issues are with the hypocracy of title ix. not with mo herself.

but women are allowed to try out for men's sports? i dont understand that.

the top tier sports at most any level are open to anyone who can earn a spot on the team. Restricted access sports, like women's sports/amateur sports/age restricted, present opportunities for those who can't play at the top tier. A 50 year old golfer can play in the US Open, a 40 year old can't play in the senior Open...not a tough concept to grasp.
