They overloaded the left side of our line. Who was our edge blocker that let the guy get by without getting a hand on him?

Mason Taylor had 3 men to block. Not an issue he should be held responsible for.

I saw 2 for sure. Definitely was a schematic issue. I don’t blame the kid, but he asked who the edge was.

The outside guy is never blocked. If you have a good snap and timely kick the outside end rusher doesn’t have time to block the kick. Taylor stepped out to block the outside guy and the inside man darted in and blocked it. It was a missed assignment.

He didn’t have 3 guys to block, he had one gap to be be responsible for. The to his right. Anchor that left leg in the ground and block down hard. If your outside football stays wide the gunner won’t get there
