They have a Commitment Dinner going into their 3rd year where they sign their papers. Before you sign those papers you are free to leave. After you sign those papers you have to serve your 5 years of active duty or pay $100,000 if you leave after your 3rd year and $200,000 if you leave after your 4th.

I know you started this post trying to imply that Paul Skenes is some kind of traitor for transferring from Air Force..but good on the rant for downvoting you!

Your assumption is wrong. Was only seeking information because I didn’t know the answer. I hope he’ll be a great Tiger.
