Is it just me that thinks Coach Miles became obsessed with Johnny Football and the havoc it wreaked on the rest of the SEC, not including us.
Yes

The players come to LSU come to play for the school. They see the talent all over the field and want to be apart of it. Most of them don't care about the DC. How many are asking to transfer? LSU has had many DC and head coaches and have put defensive players in NFL for many years. Even before Saban. Players will continue come no matter who coaches any position as long as they play on TV six plus times per year.

I think Miles made a mistake in 2007 thinking it was all about the system and that he could just promote from within and things would be fine...Malveto knew Pelini's system and the transition would be seamless.
There was a huge talent drop off in 08 from making a head coaching change.
Even if brick is promoted, this d is as talented as ever. Just because the co dcs failed, and failed mainly because the offense scored for the other team and gave other teams great field position, doesn't mean Haley will fail.
I don't think we are promoting Haley, but if we do, played under chavis and coached with chavis, making the calls on the sideline for 6 seasons at LSU.
This would not resemble Doug Mallory and Bradley dale peveto being promoted. At least not in the sense of knowing pelinis system so it would be seamless. Haley knows chavis' system.

All one ever hears is how the O was good enough to win the SEC, but coDCs ruined it all.
I know the coDCs had a tough sell to keep player morale up after all those nice gifts were given.

Just thinking of how many madhatter calls he made the past two seasons compared to the previous eight.... not enough headscratching calls this year to maintain the moniker. Maybe that is the edge we are missing. Coach Miles is fully in control of this ship, he just seems tired at the helm.

Curious indeed, do you think ever once in the past 18 months Chavis ever scratched his head about the direction of the offense? It would be interesting to know who he thought should have been given more snaps at QB. Lets just wish him well, except against us.

Or 12 to 13 times a year

We have not announced it yet inorder to let Coach O contact all these recruits during the dead period. On the morning drive, Jordy said he has been texting recruits like Dylan Mack and CeCe Jefferson all the time while in studio.
No way O does this unless he is already under contract.

average 3 times a day for six years, now 30 times a day in 2015, impressive: take your vitamins.

Don't forget Miles was working hand and hand with the CoDefensive Cordinators and the only time since he has been coach at LSU did he go with the defense at practice and not the offense. And remember we would lose a GAME 35-31 AND HE WOULD THROW THE OFFENSE UNDER THE BUS. iT WASN'T THE CO-DUMMIES IT WAS THE tri-DUMMIES
