Pretty sure we are in the National Title hunt every year you stupid dipshit. If we had beaten Bama we would have played in the SEC title game and could have played in the National Championship. That is being in the hunt. Last year we played in the Championship game. I am pretty sure that is being in the hunt. By adding to your original thought, thank you for confirming with the rest of the Rant that you are total frickin moron though.

1. We have major program issues because there are just too many juniors leaving for everything to be going ok. 2. Too many juniors left so we are going to lose at least 4 games in 2013, possibly 5. But hey other than that, everything is golden

Agreed!! We are a good team but not great with the right offense we could be great it's just frustrating

It was great. Me and the wife were going to head to ATL, but decided to come back to Houston and enjoy our week off of work instead of staying in BR until the game.

Hey at least you got to go to a game this year. Not that greatest ending, but still got to make a game nonetheless.

My attention is starting to shift to baseball. Hopefully LSI tears it up since I'm thinking my beloved Cubs aren't going to be the greatest in 2013.

I agree, how can you people settle for blown national titles and blown bowl games with the talent he has every year?? Y'all rave about 10 win seasons and his record as if that is something we should be proud of, it's not hard to win like that when LSU's talent is better than most of the opponents they play. Anyone in the country can see the talent Miles has at LSU every season, but continually underachieves with it because of his goofy daffy the duck coaching abilities!

Wow. Just wow. You're an idiot ,boy. Since his hire, no SEC team has win the SEC more than miles( I say the SEC because it the only title that means anything to me. You can't get voted into the SEC title game. You can't get into the SEC title game using the "eyeball" test).

These guys all played as freshmen. How many players play for 3 years and stay? Most guys like ron brooks dont crack the 2 deep until they are srs. thats why they dont leave early, they havent played yet.

Montgomery is the only one that didn play 3 seasons because o finjury, he wil also be the first one off the board.

Don't agree with me bro. I was being totally sarcastic. I'm not at the edge of the cliff just yet because we had some NFL worthy juniors declare and we have a top 5 recruiting class coming in. Sorry to mislead you into thinking that I would jump with you.

Good for you. Understand the need for relaxation. Yeah, it was the only game I made it to this year, so was glad to go. Being at home sure made it easier. I'm with you on the baseball and trust we will do well. Good luck with your Cubs anyway. BTW, it appears not much has changed with some of the folks and their comments on this site. Maybe why I get a little tired of reading all their banter. Take care of yourself. I'll drop in some time to say hello.

Sorry I didn't make it clear enough I was joking.

I totally agree with you 100%. All of these guys were NFL worthy and we have a top 5 recruiting class coming in in 2012.

I was just sharing the Rant's general thoughts with my buddy.

Good point. I have been watching the NFL games all year and every time the players are introduced almost all of them are from LSU. Nobody else has talent. LSU has all of the talent in the country.

So if saban is the best and LSu is just so talented, then why did we lose in 2002, 2004 and 2005? he cost us 3 national titles.

Why didnt bama win in 2007, 2008, 2010? He cost bama 3 national titles.

LOL i couldnt tell at first.

Ive been making this argument and wonder why people are surprised. Werent all these guys minus minter slated to go before the season started? That was pretty much what was echoed on here leading up to the season. But we lose 3 games and every one changes their tune. It is quite funny. How dare these guys that have been playing since freshmen go onto the nfl.

We really have prob one of the worst fanbases in college football.

Ill take the sec titles because they are NEVER questioned. In twenty year people will look back on 2011 and see Bama didn't even win its division. After every single BCSCG the analyst are asking if the two participants were the right teams. THAT LITERALLY HAS NEVER HAPPENED WOTH THE SEC TITLE. WHY? Because you can't get voted into the SECCG. You can't go on Espn and beg for a place in the SECCG. You can't use the "eyeball" test to get in either. The prerequisites never change. It's the one title that is never questioned and its also the only title you win on the field and not with a vote.

I think the biggest issue with Les and his staff has been key misses in recruiting. He's done a good job of filling needs for the most part, but all of his teams since 07 have had deficiencies. Missing on guys like Dez Bryant, Justin Hunter, Mike Davis and Teddy Bridgewater among others have made a difference in potential championship runs, imo. The Perriloux situation was a killer, but not recruiting a qb in 06 and only getting Garrett in 09 caused LSU to have issues at qb for four years and resulted in Miles' best team getting embarrassed in the BCS championship in 2011. Bad luck notwithstanding, Les' reluctance to aggressively pursue juco players prior to 2010 put us at a disadvantage when Saban has been using juco studs every year to help him reload. Nick is as shrewd as it gets so If we're going to consistently compete with bama we need to use every recruiting tool available. However, it appears that Les has softened his stance on recruiting juco players this year which is very encouraging.
