If the theory that Les' teams play to the level of their competition is true then he's probably expecting a solid effort this week.

ATL told me in 08 that he knew Miles was not the right coach for LSU even after Miles' 1st 3 yrs. of success. So yes, I understand our college football minds work different.
08 and 09 was a period when a number of LSU fans, I guess, came on here to tells us that LSU would never be relevant again in college/SEC football as long as Miles remained at LSU. Well, we all know how that gem of a college football thought process worked out for them.
One thing you have to give ATL, he hasn't run from his opinion by changing his screen name.
Back to the thread, Miles enjoys competing and enjoys the challenge of facing off with the best. That's one of the reasons his team normally fair well in these type games in TS. imo

I wouldn't put to much stock in anyone's mood. Hopefully he has this team ready to play at a high level......we come out breathing fire.....get a big lead.....put our foot on their throats and crush their windpipes. No letting off on the gas pedal. Style points....its time to run that mf up against them if we get the chance and Bama too for that matter.

I hope i'm not speaking too early on this, but the team seems to be playing a bit looser and better.
I'm going to be pumped up for this game, but i'm also not going to hold my expectations too high. It will be a close one though, that is for certain.

I couldn't care less what kind of mood he's in. He better have the team ready to play this week. Living in MS now all of my friends are OM fans and I don't feel like hearing any more of their shite. If the team comes out and looks anything like they did against state or AU I'm going to be done with Miles.

I think the D will keep the game close enough for LSU to win. Question is...will the offense be able to do anything? One of the RB's will probably light it up, but wishing we had a passing game that our quality opponent would respect. Also wishing BH had gotten more significant playing time last week in preparation for the rest of the SEC schedule to back up AJ.

I disagree. He seemed stressed that week. I remember showing my wife his Wednesday PC video and saying "we're going to lose." He sounded defeated then, but seems energized this week. Just my take FWIW.

Reading comprehension problem? Point to where I said anything about LSU winning.
OM has been the better team so far this year and I'm not delusional like some of you. I just don't want to watch them rollover like they did for 3 quarters vs state and 4 vs AU.
