But that is definitely dramatic.

No shite, it's not like a team wil have the exact record EVERY year so ya, a team will have upward and downward spirals EVERY year. All it will take is a 9 win season in 2015 to have an UPWARD spiral. Big frickin deal.

And with all that being said... THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH "LIFE IN THE PROGRAM".

If anyone thinks the is no LIFE in the LSU program after an 8-5 season then they are as ignorant as Cauble.

we had similar records in 08 and 09 only to bounce back...using only 4 years doesn't do this argument justice

what? i just posted you the regression. its plain to see. the program has regressed 4 straight years in sec wins, and 3 out of 4 years in overall wins.

do you know what regression means? maybe you mean to say its still good in good shape (which is up for debate). Whether their is a regression, however, isnt up for debate.

thats a good point if you were making it for 1 year to the next. 4 straight years is a plenty big enough sample size though to notice a trend and not chalk it up as just a fluctuation.

Sure it does. The program definitely needed some new life. Les got offended (understandably because it's puts his job performance in a negative light) but it was a good question from Cauble.

From 2001-2009 Mack Brown never won less than 10 games. He had 4 season of 1 or less losses in that stretch, 2 national title game appearances, and 1 national title won.

From 2010-2013 he had 4 down years. Should he have been fired? Does 4 years do this argument justice?

So why not give a different passer a chance before you almost abandon as segment of your offense?

Is our program anywhere near the dumpster fire UT was?

bounced back in 2011 because of the most dominant defense since 2003 was in place. still didn't have a great QB.

huh? man, 4 years is a lot of time to show trends. that's 40% of Les' tenure at LSU

we were a 48% passing team. 48% of the time we threw incompletions.

I interpreted that to mean we ran the ball 52% and Passed 48%.

Of the 48% passes, 48% were completed.

52% - Run
25% - passes complete
23% - Passes incomplete

Not sure if this is accurate, somebody else can check.

Some of the most prolific passing attacks in school history have come under Miles. When he has a QB that he trusts we will sling it.
