Well, thanks for explaining it to me. Les Miles is not at fault for any short comings of the LSU football program. The guy is just unlucky.
Well he gets no credit for the lsu teams 2005-2007. Never mind that every single player on the roster in 2007 spent more time with Miles than Saban. Never mind that we've had good qb play in 2006,2007,2009,2011,2013, but that doesnt fit the bullshite argument that Miles has never had a good qb.

Miles should take a look at what Cardale did in his past three games. He seemed pretty efficient in passing when he needed.

Mett was a redshirt junior in 2012.
It was also his first snap of fbs football and he lost 3 starting olineman and his starting rb to injury.

Yeah if only he could find a 250 lb mobile qb with a rocket for an arm. I don't think people realize that Cardale didnt start over Barret because of his off the field attitude.

How many snaps did Sims have before this year? Barrett/Jones? Marshall in 2013? Winston? Manziel in 2012?
So apparently it's not impossible, or only once in a lifetime talent that can run a great offense in year 1.

Glad you accepted that you can't win the offensive play calling argument.

The offense did suck really bad this year because of Jennings inability to pass the football. Nothing pretty about the 116th ranking passing attack in the country.

Again you are talking about something so rare, and just because it's been done recently, that every first year QB should be able to do it.
In all the years of CFB how many times has a 1st year QB won the NC. And of those how many were a RS Soph like Jennings?
And no maybe it's NOT impossible and NOT a once in a lifetime thing, but before Manziel when was the last time aTm had a QB to do it. And before Winston when did FSU have a 1st year QB do it? And before Jones? So maybe not once in a lifetime, but maybe once in a lifetime for each school. This is rare stuff and you throw it around like anyone should be able to do it.
And you are not Nostradamus. Maybe LSU does it in the next few years... then they would have accomplished it as many times as any other school of late.
But of course we all know who you are. We know your reply. Don't bother with the same old tired hater rhetoric.

Are you serious? Ok yeah its not impossible if you have 2 Heisman winning qbs (manziel and Winston)or a 250 lb athletic qb with a cannon. Yeah its not impossible if you have one of those.

I think, he thinks, Manziel, Winston and Cardale are normal.

Jennings was a true sophmore.

The overt problem with this explanation is that we weren't "ripping off runs going up and down the field" against teams with above average defenses, such as Alabama and Arkansas
Arkansas maybe, they beat us down. But with just a below average passing game LSU wins against Bama. It was a close game even after we just ran up the middle every play.

Doesn't Miles answer get you so excited about the offense next season?!?!? Lol

7 of 14 passing in the bowl game? Is that the actual numbers? That has to be the lowest passes attempted by any team in the entire bowl season. Then he wants to get snarky just because a guy asked him a question about it?
What most knuckleheads can't seem to understand is that if we threw it more our percentage would probably go down. A pass, for LSU, was basically a trick play - and we were still around 50%.

I was just addressing the Arkansas game. I'm okay with favoring the run in our other games as you're right, it was better than passing it. But when you're losing, and getting 1 ypc, continuing to run it inside late in the game feels a bit like giving up.

quote: Lee was great for 8 games No he wasn't. Lee had his shite games in 2011. Oregon, kentucky, and bama were horrible games by Lee.
Bama was not part of the 8 games. Lee did what was asked of him against oregon, and Kentucky was incredibly windy. But check his efficiency stats through 8 games. He was top 2 in passng efficiency in the SEC and had a very good TD:INT ratio. But you're probably one of the tards that just looks at passing yards and nothing else.

Your point sucks. I started the "first snap in FBS" comparisons when arguing about 2012 with another poster. 2012 we had a RS Junior quarterback, who I and the Tennessee Titans think pretty highly of. He has every bit the quarterbacking talent as every player already mentioned except for Winston.

I wonder what else could have possibly distracted Lee in the Kentucky game? Was there any other distraction to the qb position that game that wasn't there previously?

Your B.S. hate mongering has been debunked by more than just me. Move along. You are embarrassing yourself.
