Context is everything. He said this at the Touchdown Club of Houston event for LSU where he was making clear jokes about UT and TAMU...

The truth really does HURT!!! If t-sipps getting mad about this??? wait til LSU & aTm keeps out recruiting them over the next few years, cuz everyone knows that the SEC is the HI-WAY to the NFL!!!

Sorta agree with this.
I think that before our very eyes, we've seen a guy grow into a job that was bigger than him when he took it.
His schtick is different than Spurrier's though. When Spurrier's a smart arse, he WANTS you to know he's being a smartass.
Miles is the politest smart arse you've ever seen, which makes it alot more clever, chesty, and fun.
