This has nothing to do with SP.
The only complaint about SP is that he sometimes wastes challenges. If I could say that about Les Miles, I might have a stroke.

no they dont, you are a lie... I know a player persnlly.
They admit he talks goofy but he has the respect of his team and as a coach thats THE most important virtue.

FWIW derrick odom and troy giddens dont count.

Why diod Ego Ferguson come here? The #1 player in VA., really Maryland, but for practical purpuses..Patrick Peterson the #1 player out of Florida in 2008? The list goes on...brah

LMAO @ the Les Miles > Sean Payton argument. Is this really an argument? OK, lets check out the attributes.
No disresepct to Miles, but Payton has learned from the BEST in the business. Miles maintained what was already established for the most part. And has fallen as of late. Payton stepped into a situation where the team had NO foundation whatsoever, a losing record, a destroyed city, and the team was close to getting moved to San Antonio. Payton has improved this team yearly until he won it all. Miles seems to be going in reverse.
Payton has the BEST offensive mind in the game AND the most aggressive. The Saints have had the best offense for most of Paytons tenure. IF it wasnt the best, it was ONE OF THE BEST. Where exactly was LSUs offense ranked? OH, it was Crowtons fault, right- WELL WHO has CONTROL over ALL coaching decisions when he sees fit?? MILES and Payton do. Payton doesnt seem to have issues about doing things HIS WAY, and doing what he HAS to do to WIN. Even if it means compromising his OWN SALARY.
OH, and i forgot to mention Payton built this team with alot of lower round draft picks and undrafted free agents. AND has hired the right coaches to DEVELOPE the talent. I know..its not fair to mention the "D" word when comparing Miles to Payton.
Payton doesnt seem to have a problem getting the most out of his talent and putting them in the best situations to excel. Where exactly does Miles stand in this area? Shhh- Shep/Randle..i know.
Need i continue with the fact Payton coaches in the NFL which is a helluva lot harder to win in than college football? Case closed...there IS NO comparison. Sean Payton is LIGHTYEARS better than Les Miles. I know this because IM better than Miles and I wasnt even mediocre in the pros!

Signed,
Nick Saban

Coker started with a bang then faltered. Miles is following the same pattern.

Do you remember calling for Miles to be fired in November of 2007? I find you have very, very little credibility on this subject.

In Les' defense he didn't have a QB who might be the most accurate passer of all time. It's kind of hard to compare cause NFL is a full time job whereas college kids get to prepare only about half the time the pros do.

Yes. This was a terrible hire for LSU. So you were happy with LSU 2007 losing to two unranked teams and backing into the BCS NC game? All Les had to do was coach the team up to beat an average Arkansas team with everything on the line. He is probably the worst game day coach at an elite school. It will be bitter sweet when he gets canned next year. I want him gone, but not at the expense of the program losing games. He was lucky that Bertman had no clue how to higher a football coach. LSU paid a firm and he was the best candidate they could find, pathetic.

Thank you. I was ecstatic to win a BCS championship. I would have been much less ecstatic if we had finished the season undefeated, then lost to tOSU. Much, much less ecstatic (thought still pleased with the season).

You can go about your rantardly activities now.

Huge insult to Miles. Miles - 66 Games: 51-15 *5 Winning Seasons Payton - 69 Games: 42-27 *2 Winning Seasons, 1 losing season & 1 8-8 season.
Yeah because winning in College and winning in the NFL are comparable. The NFL teams all have close talent levels even for the Browns and Raiders. LSU's opponents with the exception of 3-4 games a year have nowhere near the talent on our roster so your point is an epic fail.

The only Epic Fail is your whiffed shot at SEC Football.

Since you want to compare coaches in different leagues, J.T. Curtis > Les Miles

I'm fairly aware of that, but you still went ahead and compared their records.

Yep. Different league, and Miles has a Superior record in his job.

Are you suggesting that Miles is a superior coach, as a result?

Why didn't you include Miles' record at OSU in your post where you compared the records?

So, by your logic, J.T. Curtis is a superior coach to Miles. And Stoops, Meyer, and Carroll are superior coaches to Miles.
