Dude has never lost less than two games.

Short memory, considering he was 13-1 last season.

It's interesting. I was talking to a Bama fan about the gambles Les lost on in the Alabama game -- the faked field goal, onside kick, going for it, kicking a 55-yard field goal just before halftime.

His comeback -- And one I've heard repeated several times since then -- was this: Well, if Saban knew what he was doing, LSU wouldn't even have been in the game. Alabama was running the ball at will, but Saban insisted on throwing it.

I explained that Nussmeier is a more wide-open OC than they've had in the past. "Bad hire," he said, putting the fault for that on Saban.

He emailed me again after they lost to A&M. Again, to him, Saban is the worst coach in the world. Overrated by the media.

It's funny how that goes. Everybody thinks the greatest coach in the world is someone other than what they have, even if they are among the elites, which LSU very much is.

I agree... Quriky...YES but the best thing I have seen since I started going to Tiger games in 1976 when I was a kid!!!

We have what most programs only dream of and at times it is certainly not appreciated!
