I seriously hope not.... We might as well start Mett if that's how we are going to use him. Why would you throw him in only when the going gets tough? JJ should be able to handle it if LSU falls behind or if the offense is in bad situations. If JJ cannot handle the offense in bad situations, then we need to start Mett. I don't like putting QBs who rarely play in tough situations, it asking too much of them. If JJ is unable to convert 3rd and longs, or if JJ loses his cool if LSU falls behind, then he needs to be benched

As usual, any pro JJ statement is posted you have to jump in and set them straight! Tell em tduecen! We will not have any positive comments about JJ on here. Only constant repetitive bashing is allowed according to you.

What purpose does it serve to continuously trash the guy? It's getting out of hand on here. Borderline embarrassing we have fans that will relentlessly trash players on the team that they claim to support.

In fact.. you have to go back to 2006 to find a quarterback who threw only 7 TDs over the course of a season. That takes the top-100 QBs each year, fwiw. I didn't bother to look beyond 2006 either.
Oh, and he threw for ~300-400 more yards than Jefferson did. As a freshman who only came in because the starter got hurt (~3 games into the season)

Those are his stats. He played last season and produced those results. They are FACTS.

No, but I do think its ridiculous that if you aren't leading the pitch fork and torch mob against JJ then you aren't allowed an opinion on here apparently. There isn't one good thing that comes out of constantly trashing JJ.

Every qb thread is full of the blatant hate posts. If you can call out everyone with a pro JJ post, why can't I call out the constant bashing posts? You are the one that takes pro JJ posts personally.

Good lord. Your interest would be best served to stay off the Rant until JJ graduates. You seem incapable of separating criticism of his play with criticism of the person. I don't care how he dresses, what music he listens to, how nice a guy he is. I care about how much he produces.

You tell him td. One can never post enough negative stuff about Jefferson. One can never post the same old complaints enough. It is imperative that the constant drumbeat of negativity toward Jefferson continue.
You know I used to be one of these sunshine pumpers before my conversion and I admit I once thought that the unending negative comments were way too much. But I now know better. It is impossible to criticize Jefferson enough. It is impossible to post any single negative about him enough. In fact the more times each and every negative is posted, it is a victory for us and a defeat for the pumpers.
Not a single day must be allowed to elapse without a Jefferson attack. Not a single trite and stale complaint must ever be allowed to be forgotten. We must post and post and post. It is our validation.
You are also right to point out how overly sensitive the Jefferson supporters are. Don't you just get tired of their whinning? Any time a person that has several negative comments toward Jefferson is challenged by the sunshine pumpers, we have to jump in and call them on it. We can't have them challenging can we? Who knows where that might lead?

You have this idea that I think JJ is definitely the one to lead us back to the BCS. I really don't think he is. But my whole point is what good is it going to do to constantly criticize the man? It doesn't serve any purpose. Really appears childish. I'm not sure what fans of a team would constantly dog one of the players. It's not being objective. Criticism is objective. Bashing and hate is childish and embarrassing and this board is overrun with it.
