All true. A well-designed offense clicks along, completing short over the middle passes to backs and tight ends on first downs, gets first downs, moves the ball, keeps the opponent's defense on the field more than your defense. When the offense is clicking, the success of a drive doesn't always depend upon a third and long, where when you have a dropped pass you're fricked. Players are going to drop passes. In this lousy offense, player errors are magnified.

Either he recruits crappy offensive players
He or his staff can't coach offensive players to execute
His scheme sucks sasquatch testicles.

All of the above, except he recruits mostly good players. But he stubbornly refuses to see reality or change his coaching methodology.

Cant most teams in modern college football make the same claim for their coach so long as he has been around for a few year?

We try to run the same plays and bludgeon people. That works against most teams, but does not work against teams with near equal depth and talent.

It's the scheme and execution and it has caught up with him. A big change needs to be made on his part.

The rest of the SEC has the blueprint to stopping LSU on offense and Les is too stubborn to adjust. It's as simple as that

I agree with the first part of your statement. I don't think he is too stubborn. I just don't think he knows how to adjust. Can someone please provide an example of the last time LSU made any in game adjustments or even changed anything at halftime?

I think Stud is out of his league. Although we came out on the first series firing on all cylinders but then get into the redzone and can't get 7. OC is the bigger problem. The smaller problem is we can't pass block. Then when we do have time to throw the receivers are dropping the ball.

Exactly! Not seeing Miles change but he better if he wants to keep his job. He must think he's still coaching Ok State! We have a higher standard here. This is LSU!

He has been the last 4 years. Why he even has an OC is a mystery to me.

Spoke to a player today....He said Miles is calling the plays

Well he needs to start carrying around a play sheet and stop calling the same 9 plays over and over again.

Ill never ger how if Les has laways run the offense at LSU, why it has changed with every offensive Coordinator.

It was different under Fisher, Crowton, and Kragthorpe/Stud. Just from a fundamental formation preference they are different. But it is Les' offense. He was definitely to blame for Crowton's offense stalling, which is why he is doing so well where he was before LSU, and where he is now.

This is Les problem because he is the head coach and that makes him responsible for everything. He needs to clean house on offense like he did on Defense. Find Stud a nice HC job at middle lower louisiana state technical school
