I guess the answer would be yes; I always cracked up when Spurrier, at Florida, would diss Tennessee.

As aforeposted, Saban doesn't really have the sly witty way of cutting an opponent to the quick; he's more heavy handed about it.

Let's say they all have a Dark Side, so maybe what I really like is Mile's adept manner of slipping a blade betwixt the ribs.

Always compliment your opponents in advance of games and don't ever give them an incentive to increase their adrenaline.

a lot of fans got a kick out of spurriers off the wall comments in the past and I think people are starting to see more of that sort of thing from Miles. Beats the hell out of having some boring arse dead serious coach ala Saban or Tressel for example.

I just think it would be a great move if the crowd would go perfectly quiet when Saban's name is mentioned the first time in Tiger Stadium when the Tide comes to play us........But,alas, there's now way that will ever happen.
