Well I've never seem them post. I've said it numerous times. My loyalty to Miles ends the day he stops being lsu's coach.
I was fricking giddy when I thought we were getting Jimbo. Jimbo with our skill position players would've been beast.

Maybe....... 2001 had a great offense but not that good on D.... AND I have bashed Saban for those losses... Scratching my head..ESP in 2001... For him being the so called D GURU. that teamsucked on D.... I have ZERO problem saying that Miles has done very well at LSU... Saban left the roster full of NFL talent and Miles did well with it.. AGAIN that was 10 years ago... Lets talk about the last two years with Miles... 4-4 and 5-3 in the SEC.... You call that great.. I call it mediocre... We will always disagree on this... Next year Miles should NOT losr more than one game...

Miles isnt afforded that luxury because expectations are through the roof. there simply isnt as much room for error.
It may not be fair but it is what it is.

Holy shite. Wheb the frick have I ever called the last 2 years great? Why do always do that? You took me saying a top 15 finish isn't mediocre to me saying the last 2 years were great.you just make shite it.

That makes no sense. The greatest coach of our generation was loaded with nfl talent and he lost 7 games in 2 years and wasn't considered underachieving but miles with less talent is?

This thread just needs to die. Nothing I post will change your mind and nothing you or Peej post will change mine. We 3 do this at least once a month then we sporadically reply for a while and then we have a 30 page thread where we repeatedly call each other idiots and dumbass.

as a coach you shoukd at least see why you're not and address the problem in an effort to.
Yes, of course, because proper explanations in the media is exactly what cost us those three games. Our running game wasn't stuffed by Bama's front 7 working against a depleted blocking crew, we were shut down by the fact that Miles didn't properly allocate responsibility in his public statements. It wasn't inaccurate passing and drops that made our offense somewhat one-dimensional and ineffective during much of November, it was the fact that we, the public, weren't given the proper insight by Coach Miles into what was going on with the team. Yeah, you're totally right; Miles' really should fix the team's problems by making better statements to the media.

This is the first time in the Miles era that we've really been blown out of games
No, it isn't. We were blown out by Georgia in '05. And by Florida in '08. Every coach gets blown out. Saban got blown out by UGA in '04, VT in '02, and Auburn in '00. DiNardo, Hallman and Archer got blown out by . . . okay, by a lot of people. But the point is, getting blown out does not mean the program is failing. Bama got blown out by Utah in '08, and again by OU in '13. Ohio State got embarrassed by VT last year and won the National Championship. It happens.

Most of us would be fine with not getting shellacked 3 games a year.
No, you weren't. People exactly like you (and I'm sure you, yourself) were absolutely not fine with winning every game but one in 2011. In 2012, we only lost 3 games and they were by a combined total of 13 points, and none of you were "fine" with it despite the fact that we were absolutely not "shellacked 3 games" that year. And again in 2013, when 2 of our 3 losses were by a field goal and not "getting shellacked", y'all were thoroughly not "fine". So no, you are full of shite and lying through your teeth when you pretend like y'all are not unreasonable dipshits by spouting off laughers like, "Most of us would be fine with not getting shellacked 3 games a year."

Try getting a shred of self awareness, and realize how thoroughly your history fails the standard you just set for yourself. Maybe if you re-evaluate your past through that lens, you can start to grasp what the real problem is.

Ok what is your point? LSU won the title in 2003 and lost it in 2011.

Everything else is irreverent.

King joey is absolutely correct.
Joey it's great to see your level headed posting again but you gotta remember you're talking to people that are Madden jockeys and wouldn't know real football if Drew Brees drilled them directly in the forehead with one.

Saban came in when our program was hot garbage

Way to show off your retard level. Saban come in when we were nine games over .500 and had gone to three bowls in the last five years.

Hot garbage would have been being 16 games under .500 and zero bowls in six years which what the coach before Saban had greeting him.

Holy shite. You're serious.

NO ONE ever sees me post about Saban nostalgia on here so don't think I'm one of these "if only Saban were here" guys.

But for frick's sake man, LSU was 4-7(2-6 in the SEC) and then 3-8(1-7 in the SEC in the two years prior to Saban's arrival.

Cmon man. You just look like a tard trying to talk about the 5th year prior to support your point.

The fricking wheels had come off.

For the coach because he refused to make coaching staff changes, but not for the program which was still bringing in NFL talent.

If Saban had come into the LSU program in 1995, there would have been no title three years later.

It's amazing the lack of respect GN receives for stopping the flow of high school talent leaving this state and returning some degree of respect to the LSU football program.

Were you out of the country from 89-94?

If you're going to pretend that the 4-7 and 3-8 seasons didn't hurt recruiting, I don't know what to tell you. Head in sand syndrome.
