Oh really?

Even cryptically, though, it sure sounded like Miles is leaning seriously in Jefferson’s direction.

He might as well let him get some real game time experience in this rebuilding year. We're only going to the Peach Bowl this year so why not let him play?

I'll believe it when I see it.

Exactly, could the true freshman do any worse? At least Jefferson can make things happen with his feet.

Me, too. Why play him now after Lee has already been put through the ringer this year? Seems to me it's he and Hatch at this point no matter what happens. This would be a bizarre move.

How is putting in a true freshman that has taken on snap for an option run to replace a RS freshman going to solve anything?

Well if he replaces Hatch as the running QB that'd be great. But he should've been getting PT from day 1.

Well, based on who we have coming in next year, I wouldn't oppose JJ getting significant playing time the rest of the season, starting this weekend against Tulane.

I agree, They would both make mistakes...and the playbook would decrease with JJ in there however that could be a good thing

Ok to let him play against Tulame, but if JJ starts against Bama we are screwed royally, he doesn't' even know the plays. If he starts the rest of the season, we may as well just go ahead and throw in the towel, it's a rebuilding year IMO.

Well, it's pretty much impossible to throw any more pick 6s.

However, JJ will definitely limit us.

The only thing it solves is to get JJ experience for the future because this year is already in the books, for all intents adn purposes. Clearly, Lee should not be our future.

No it didn't. Made no sense to play him until now.

That's sort of hard to fathom.

Seriously, why are we talking about quarterbacks? If you score 38 points in the SEC you shouldn't lose. We should be talking defense.

So what if Lee is mediocre at the moment this is first year as a starter. You can't expect someone to step in a immediately be a superstar. It isn't feasible.

For the first few series, I don't expect JJ to even understand what's going on around him so it isn't that hard to fathom. If he does play, expect handoffs, screen passes and rollouts with plenty of incompletions and hurried throws. It's not going to be a really big improvement to begin with but how he settles down and adapts may however provide more insight into the future.

i wish he would start so half of you jerkoffs would STFU about playing time. ALERT!!! there is a reason why the guy hasnt gotten to play so far, and being as i dont know every thing about the team Ill have to go out on a limb here and take a guess why he hasnt played more.. lets see.... I got it, he doesnt give us the best chance to win.?
You fuking idiots really think that we have a realistic shot at beating bama and OM with a guy that has taken 1 fuking snap all yr. Unbelievable the rational some of you have.

38 points should be enough but not when your quarterback gives the other team 21pts. I thought the defense looked pretty good.
