i forgot about that ULL juggernaut that was a dropped pick 6 away from making a game of it against us ..

We beat ULL by 4 TDs and they never crossed our goal line, you clown!
Making a game out if like ULM did to Nick and Alabama, d'bag?

ULL dropped two pick 6s in the first half .. you really think that was an impressive win ?? frick, louisiana tech, who was worse than ULL, was in the game with us until the fourth quarter ... if you want to compare ULM beating alabama in 2007, look at the game tech gave us ... you tell SFP to get saban's dick out of his mouth ... ? get off of saban's nuts ... he left miles stockpiled with the talent to go 33-6 in his first three seasons ... if west virginia doesn't get upset by pitt .. we're talking about a season where we blew the NC because we lost to kentucky and arkansas ... pitt's upset of WVU has salvaged a somewhat positive opinion of miles by some ...

he
He left LSU in 2004 and I don't give shite what he left or didn't leave. He had been gone 3 years when Les won the 2007 title.
How many games did he win in his last yr and how many games did Les win last yr?
You using us when talking about LSU is rich, troll.

Take you fricking ifs and stick them where the sun don't shine.
The ULL game was what it was, a 4 TD win.
The Alabama loss to ULM at Alabama was what is was, an embarrassment to Alabama and the SEC.

west virginia
I don't give a frick what WVU could have done IFFFFFFFF they won, they didn't win and you need to get over it.
LSU and Miles won the 2007 and that's all ANY LSU should care about, but we have some real pussies for fans who want to if, if, if everything to death. Ball-less fricks that they are.

try to exceed the 7th grade english level next time ..

tech's beaten alabama and michigan state .. southern miss beat auburn, alabama, and florida state, troy beat mississippi state, etc. etc. .. so what's your point ?? where has the alabama program gone since that loss ?? where has the LSU program gone since the national championship .. that is what this thread is focusing on ... not a positiger lapping the nut butter off of les miles' balls session ... saban's program has excelled and miles' has slid down a slippery slope ... 8-8 in the SEC .. one win against a team that even finished in the top 25 ... 17-9 record overall propped up with rent-a-wins over in-state whipping boys, the co-defensive coordinator fiasco of 2008 .. trying to clock the football with :01 left .. the list goes on and on ..

I don't give a frick what WVU could have done IFFFFFFFF they won
did you read ?? nothing to do with west virigina, it was the fact that miles needed an unlikely, improbable upset by pitt to even put himself in the NC game .. he took a team that was considered the chalk at the beginning of the season and needed major help to become the first two-loss champion in history .. not to mention almost sabotaging the entire season by actively pursuing the michigan job the week of the arkansas game ...

you're the exact customer that miles caters to, congrats ..

After the Ole Miss game he is an idiot and always will be.

B/c Miles isn't yelling at kids on the sidelines, or giving great interviews they see him as a "bad coach".
I think it has more to do with going .500 in the SEC than with whether or not he's yelling at kids on the sidelines.
When Les Miles performed well, he got lots of support from LSU fans. When he stopped performing well, some of that support stopped.
Les Miles, like almost all coaches, gets about the right amount of credit and blame for his teams' performances.

So fricking what? LSU set out to win the FBS and LSU won the FBS. It doesn't matter how we got in the game, only that we did. You have to be biggest retard bitch in the world to care more about how LSU got in than LSU being in the title game. Stop being such a fricking little girl.

Almost, if, could have, should have---you sound more like a Tech fan or a ULL fan or a Tulane fan than an LSU fan. Sounds like LSU winning the title in 2007 really pissed you off.

I thought LSU set out to win the BCS championship .. not the FBS ... meh .. I am expecting logic and factual debate from someone with the rhetorical skills of a 3rd grade redneck .. quit drinking the kool aid and actually start thinking for yourself, festus ...

When is the last time a coach went undefeated in 2 straight regular seasons in the SEC. Right now Saban is the best coach in the SEC. Like it or not until Miles proves he can compete with him over an entire SEC season there is not much to discuss. Until he wins a West Title Miles supporters have to get used to hearing fans say Saban is better. What happened years ago when Saban and Miles never competed in the SEC against each other means nothing now.

les had a rabbit's foot up his arse in 2007 and now LSU is stuck with the louisiana lottery winning contract he got as a result of it ..

quote:People keep saying this, but it's not true.
We've had more success in the five years under Miles than we have ever seen at LSU in any five year period.
LSU's best 5 year period record wise is 2003-2007. LSU went 56-10 and won 2 NCs with 2 different coaches.

I was so hoping he would go to Michigan in '07 that I knew it was a done deal, that is until the Tiger faithful pushed the panic button and annointed him "the neww king" in town by giving him that new deal.

I think there's a good chance that Miles will be Michigan's head coach to kick off the 2011 season.

i want my coach to recruit well, without violations, schedule soft, win 90% of the games he should, and be in every game he loses.
-recruits lights out, not buying players (anymore than any of the other big programs do)
-schedules state schools, most years. play in the toughest conference in the nation, no need in overworking yourself out of conference.
-wins against teams that he should beat, most of the time, of course some games he loses, people forget football is a sport, and that happens in sports, not like simulating a season on the xbox.
-been blown out in 4 games in 5 years, Georgia in 05 (jamarcus got hurt early), Florida and georgia in 08 (better teams), ole miss in 08, (qb got hurt, jj came in) so in 66 games at lsu, he's been close in all but 4.
give me les miles, i'll take him until he wants to retire.

He will drop big time by the end of this season.
Wonder what his record would be if he hadnt took over a Porsche Program loaded with tons of amazing talent with heart?
About what the last two season have looked like.
