....Lee had one bad game. His QB efficiency was way up there

Lee and Jefferson lead the SEC in QB efficiency this season. Better than Aaron Murry, Tyler Wilson, and AJ McCarron. We didn't have 'mediocre' QB play this season and I'm getting tired of hearing this shite.

He played great in the Cotton Bowl last year as well.

If you think 10 of 19 for 153 yards is great, by your definition, JL had eight better than great games this year.

Please stop the JJ hype. Miles has decided to live or die in the NC game with JJ so there is no reason to continuing trying to make us believe JJ is better. JJ is Miles choice and I hope we all, including Miles, do not regret his decision.

That being said, I am LSU first and formost, so geuax tigers and let's create a bad postgame press conference for little Nicky Saban explaining why he lost to Miles twice in one year.

Sure we did ... Miles and the coaching staff just did a masterful job of "managing" the QBs, resulting in the high QB ratings.

I guess that's why Jefferson is LSu's offensivre player Alabama fears the most. He's a tough player, hard to bring down and 'managed' to lead (along with Lee) the league (SEC) in passing efficiency.

Lee and Jefferson are both mediocre QBs. If you don't believe it, watch the NFL draft and see how many QBs are taken before them.

Neither will do much in the pros, doesn't mean they weren't good college QB's in 2011. Herb Tyler went undrafted in the NFL draft and never played in the NFL and he was a pretty dam good college QB.

So tell us who you would start and all about your game plan.
Also post your presser explaining why you kept the QB with a winning record vs Bama on the bench, while playing the other who threw INTs at a 30% rate and was obviously done for the night.

Any thinking 24 TDs accounted for, 4 ints, and a combined QB rating for the freaking season of bout 152 equates to "mediocre QB play" is only showing their lack of understanding of college football. imo

I will never understand the the lack of appriceation some show for the position play which is almost night to day different in game management and lack of costly mistakes this season from 2010.

It's like some are so intent on crapping on one, the other, or both that they can't see that together they have put up more than respectable numbers/results.

Kinda reminds of the BS Miles had tossed his way after his 5th season even when his results had produced more wins/success than any HC in LSU history.

The QB's really haven't been in a position to have to win a game with their arm. The stats are overrated. LSU has had decent QB play this year, adequate QB play this year, but not stellar QB play this year.
