The exact same shite is said in all of these threads.

His last game was against Georgia and he was awful. He throws like that vs Bama we are in big trouble

JJ had a bad game against GA but he has impressed me otherwise with his physical running, his execution of the option and occasional deep ball. Deny it all you like but he looks like an effective weapon out there barring the seccg where he was way high on all his throws.
This is coming from a guy who did not want him back on the team post arrest.

Read this article.
If you read it, and understand it, people are less likely to call you a dumbass.
It's a major plus that Jefferson brings to the table.
It's a vital aspect of every zone-read or option play that LSU runs.
Jefferson accounts for one of the defenses front seven.

Just me, I just read it. We have some pretty good coaching this year I would say and JJ is key to beating Bama again.

problem was the bama D was killing JL.
Lee participated in a total of 11 offensive plays, all but one in the first quarter.
Seven of his first 9 plays went for positive yardage, including 3 completions. The other 2 of those 9 plays were incomplete passes. His final two plays, as the world knows by now, were the interceptions.
The game was scoreless until there were 4 minutes left in the first half.
Lee was pretty much a non-factor in the game.
No one will ever know what would have happened had Lee played most of the game. The anti-Lee group will say that he would have played scared and thrown countless interceptions leading to multiple Bama scores, because his 3rd quarter interception resulted in 3 points for them. The pro-Lee group will say that he was capable of delivering more points than the grand total of 3 points the offense scored in regulation (the 2nd field goal was handed to the special teams unit inside the Bama 20 by the defense), while playing most of the game with JJ at QB.
I watch all games as an LSU Tiger fan. Always have. Always will.
If the team wins the National Championship game, it will be a team win, and if they lose, it will be a team loss.
Players come and players go.
LSU football is about so much more than individual players. Al least to me ...

I expect very good games from both JJ and Lee. I wouldn't be shocked to see Mett.

Two turnovers in 11 plays is atrocious

Had a lot more to do with T-Bob getting his arse handed to him at center over and over and over and over. Dude was horrible at center that game and the offense didn't turn around just because JJ was in the game. It turned around when a still hurt Lonegran replaced T-Bob at center and actually knew what the hell he was doing.
T-Bob is a decent guard, but he's proven to be a horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE, center. First INT was half on T-Bob for an utterly pathetic snap and half on Lee for forcing the play after that.
And JJ was 5/9 for a whopping 38 yards outside of one broken play on a poorly thrown ball to Shepard. Not bad, eh?

You think? And he's a poor troll. I'm impressed that nobody responded or took the bait.

Yeah man, like, if you take all of the good plays away that JJ had then he was pretty bad. And if you take all the bad plays away that Lee had then he wasn't all that bad. I mean, you aren't a complete dumbass or anything.

That's one of the weakest arguments I've ever seen made. Well done.

So taking out 1 play from JJ makes him look like shite and I am the dumbass?

I'll be thrilled with 100 yards and no INT's.
Of rumbles, or sacks. LSU doesn't need JJ to improve over last game, they just need him to not mess up.
Posted on 12/31/11 at 2:19 pm to RogerTheShrubber
If JJ plays like he did in the SEC CG and beginning of the Arkansas games (his last 2 games and only ones against even somewhat decent competition), then LSU will likely lose to Bama and potentially in a big way.

Same conversation about this guy for the last 3 years.
Is he going to suck bad or just not frick us up? Can he just complete 10 passes for more than 50 yards?
JJ needs to go out in style and just kick some arse ..........
