You guys that keep defending this type of behavior just continue to make my point. And it's behavior that gets someone their "thug" status, not the color of their skin. To pull the race card is a last gasp when you have no other defense. And it's the oldest trick in the book. Sorry, you lose.

Ghosttiger,
I'm with you...for godsakes folks, we had a crappy year...we are hardly Miami of the 80s & 90s...it seems that Les kicked RP off the team...he did not let him remain once it became clear that he would not do the right thing...he kicked off the Odom kid...BTW, what do any of you guys know about "gang" recruiting for LSU...geez, for any recruits reading this crap...it ain't true...it's a bunch of internet yahoos spreading rumors and talking out of their behinds...Les is a great person & he cares about his team. I can't think of a kid in a LSU Tiger uniform that I'd call a thug...shame on those who would do so...look at Ga. and Bama for the # of players in trouble over the past year...LSU pales in comparison...oh no, Richt and Saban must be recruiting from gangs. RIDICULOUS!

A) What type of behavior are you talking about specifically?
B) Who here is defending it and how?

We're not pulling a race card. You really are racist.

his embracing of gangsta rapper Snoop Dog
So, you think it's just fine for a head coach of a college fooball team to embrace a gangsta rapper? You don't think that sends a message, a bad one?
Jesus Christ, it wasn't like he went gang banging with the guy. He joked around with him at a Rotary club meeting or something. Seriously...how old are you 60?
Or are you just Richard Condon?
I can see it now, pretty soon the secretary will mess something up in the office, and Les will start saying things like..."is Les Miles gonna have to choke a bitch?"
Is that pretty much what you see happening?

This didn't just start yesterday. A friend of mine told me LSU was as bad as Miami with the thug stuff after we routed them in the bowl game.
That can't be. All of those players were recruited by Saban. There were no more than 13 players even notionally recruited by Miles on that team, and many of them redshirted and didn't even play. So which is it - does Miles recruit thugs, or did he inherit thugs from Saban?
