The owner looks like Beaver Retriever, especially in that pic.

Right. Glaringly obvious what that piece of shite will do with the money.

I think at least the truck stop tiger would make it into the cage.

Although his old habitat was small, it did have grass and a waterfall with small wading pool. In addition, he had an indoor enclosure that had central heat and a/c. It's nothing like this tiger's living conditions.

He was also cared for by the vet department and was fed a healthy diet. No comparison.

I'm not sure what your point is, but Mike's old place was never that shitty. Nor was it illegal.

Buy some Moon Pies, RC Cola, get a makeover, and redecorate his trailer?

Seriously though, there's been a pretty respectable outcry lately. Hopefully, they will take those poor animals away from this a-hole soon. The only reason they are there is a pathetic attempt at a marketing pull. He probably spends the least amount of money possible on their care and maintanence. After seeing their "habitat", I'd hate to see what, and how little, he feeds them.

That guy is a total dickless POS.

+1

One would think that esp in Baton Rouge, all people would have a respect for 550 lb tigers

Tiger Truck Stop

quote:

The tiger exhibit has been doubled in size to accommodate the tiger living here, bit more needs to be done. Our goal is to provide a pool and waterfall (designed by LSU students) for the tiger to enjoy. An undertaking of this type can be very expensive and we have been accepting donations toward this goal.

Currently, one tiger lives at the Tiger Truck Stop, Toby, a Bengal/Siberian mixed breed. We are looking for someone to donate a young female to the exhibit. Toby and Rainbow, a Siberian, were with us since they were cubs.

But surely compared to his natural habitat, the LSU conditions at that time were bad. Not as bad as the Truck Stop, but bad nonetheless.

I do think the Tiger needs to go from the truck stop, but also thought the conditions at LSU WERE pretty bad as well. Glad they made them better, cuz they were pretty deploraable for an animal of that nature.

Not sure why this guy does not raise some money to get some grass, a few trees and a pool with a smal pool and pump in there. If he is so wriied about the loss of business (which he apparently is), it would be well worth the investment of sod, a few smal trees planted a 4 foot deep 10 x 10 in ground pool with a pump. Might cost 15-20 K.

like they have on the plains of africa or in Asia?

I am thinking the guy shoudl invest 15-20 K to get some grass, trees, and a smal lpool in a larger area to keep his business.

If he is gonna keep it, then he should definietly upgrade the place. My guess is that he wants to maintain the status quo.

FWIW, at the hearing last night the female representative for the group that wants the tiger removed actually referred to the Gross Tete citizens as and I quote"inbred mother f***ers" and a scuffle ensued.
