The 'stache just needs a left tackle that doesn't get pancaked every other play and fewer stone hand receivers.

Honestly, fix those two things, and Lsu is going to be very very good.

Danielson on LSU,'Not sure if the quarterback is ready to compete yet with the top levels of college football.

But JJ and Lee were?

Any marketed improvement in QB play from last year and this team will go very far.

How ironic. All the great receivers we've had the passed few years and no one to get the ball to them. Now we have a pretty good passer, and no one can catch.

It is not like any QB in the SEC can hang with elite CF QB's.

The NFL doesn't feel that way if the draft were today he'd go in the first round. Miles said the fumble at the goal was porters fault the anouncers said it was porters fault(both former players).

Mett was running for his life. He's the best QB to play at LSU in my Life time. Maybe in the history of LSU football. Better then Hodson or burt jones etc....

And, McCarron wasn't last year in his first season as a starter???

I honestly think Finebaum has some sort of mental deficiency.

Seriously.

That's NOT what Danielson said according to the quote you included: "Not sure if the quarterback is ready....."

I agree with his statement, as quoted. I, too, am not sure Mett is ready. Four turnovers in four games creates some doubt.

Can't tell which sports coverage hates LSU more. ESPN or CBS.

Mettenberger is on the money like 8/10 throws maybe more. No receivers at all. I want to see other guys play out wide and see if any if them are gamers vs good/poor practice guys.

I totally agree. He has great potential, but he's not the "Metsiah" yet.

Those analysts don't know shite. Look at our QB's for the last 6 years, they can't run, they can't throw, all they know how to do is win.

If he gets a bit stronger, faster, smarter and a little less timid in that amount of time, I agree with you

That's obvious to anyone except the koolaid drinkers on tigerdroppings.

His stats are similar to AJ MCarron's. How is he not ready. I hate our dumbass fan base. fricking posters get on here, with zero football knowledge , a post shite like its fact. Get a clue. While Mett has things he needs to get better at, he is doing better than most first year starters in the SEC. AJcarron , last year , had 16 TDs and 5 ints( 6 of those TDs came in two games) and Mett is playing better than that.

He damn sure didn't look that good good against Auburn. He does look like a 70's porn star to me though.
