I think people forget spencers first 2 years, he was a good player when he didn't have to carry the team

Spencer - Major conference D-1 Starter (?)
Thornton - NBA
Temple - NBA
Johnson - NBA
Mitchell - D-League

Not much to compare.

What about:

Bass
Stringer
Dotson
Ludwig
White

CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

(And yes, that team STARTED a few times last year..... Coach K couldn't win with that five....)

Why can't we rebound the ball? I thought our rebounding would be a strength, but Storm has disappeared. Hamilton is a good on the offensive glass, but he's awful on the defensive glass. White just has no basketball instincts.

You don't win games if you don't win the glass. It makes it so much harder, and I'm shocked we can't win the glass versus CoCharleston, Northwestern, and Houston. I thought we'd be able to compete on the glass with most teams in the SEC.

I haven't

That still didn't change the fact that he wasn't really a true PG. That is where I think he got exposed a bit.

Spencer vs. Hickey (Spencer wasn't bad when he wasn't having to carry the team. He was an effective PG for the most part, I just think Hickey is better)
M. Thornton (obviously)vs. Stringer
Temple vs. Turner (Ralston is probably a better Off player. But Temple was a defensive beast and was much needed)
T. Mitchell vs. O'Bryant (JOB is still raw and not in shape enough, but could end up better)
Johnson vs. Hamilton (I don't think he's leaps and bound, but definitely better)

Storm has disappeared

Storm keeps getting into foul trouble with silly fouls.

He'll grow out of that by the time he's a senior.

Depending on how the rest of the team is setup I'd take GT over Turner. These current Tigers would need Turner more because he can score but if Garret had another scoring guard around I'd take him everyday of the week.

The crazy part is Storm seems like John Stockton compared to Malcolm White. I'm convinced if allowed to play through all fouls, White would be done in less than 10 minutes on average.

This is my first time seeing the team play this year....I see no progress from last year at this point...I'm not an alarmist, but if this team has a losing record by conference play, TJ should be let go...

Another NBA player.

Amazing what a little talent will do for a coach, huh?

prob better on the glass

I'd agree with that. Johnson had a better presence on the glass, though he did play soft at times.

I think Hamilton has the better stroke.

Does someone still have eligibility if they never played collegiate sports, but graduated and got a B.S.?

I thinking about going to talk to Trent to see he would consider me and some of my city league bball buddies to walk on and play.
