not sure why folks can't see the positives as well as the negatives in Lee's game.

The negatives have killed this team friend. They're asking him to do too much with the football. Run the ball to setup Lee to play-action.

Asking that kid to open a game against Georgia in 5 wide and then throw a pick 6 on a 5 yard toss is just plain arse stupid. Run the friggin' football.

If you get beat running the football with good backs behind a veteren o-line, then so be it. But don't get beat throwing pick 6's on stupid arse 5 wide, 2 yard out crap.

Agreed.

However, the way we ran the ball on Georgia, you have to try to establish that first against Bama..........in my opinion. That makes things a whole lot easier on Lee, or Hatch, or Jefferson.

I agree..I think bama will clog the hell out of the line of scrimmage to take away the run.

If they don't, Saban is truly an idiot. It is no secret where LSU's stregths and weaknesses are. Stop the run and we're in trouble, unless we can, hopefully, get the passing game in line. If JL has a good day throwing, LSU wins.

Disappointing season?? 6-2
Agree, disappointing losses would have been a better way to say it. I thought we would go 10-2 pre-season.

yes please run the ball. bama in only allowing 62 yards a game. so please run the ball!!!

Even though it's a quote from a Gump he speaks the truth. Miles will try to run the ball, but our line will have to play much better, running against Tulane and running against a fired up Bama are way different. We match up pretty well with these guys but we can't give them any thing easy, we just do not seem cabable of playing error free.

Before the tomatoes start flying...I do believe there is a slight chance we can when this weekend. If we get the opening drive and score a TD, that can be a game changer. The pick-6 on the first play of the GA game took the fanbase out of it. I hope to see Ridley get some snaps this weekend and I also hope (and sure it will) get asked tonite at the Les Miles Show. I saw a lean and mean Charles Scott within ridley; 51 yards within 5 carries! We should run the ball every direction with all the running talent we got. LSU should also stick with the no-huddle offense since that is the way Lee plays his best...quick passes.

If LSU was unable to stop Georgia's running game, you're in real trouble against 'Bama. Alabama will also commit to stopping LSU's running game, and they're one of the best teams in the nation at doing just that.

Now while I may not like everything my team, LSU, calls on offense or the way LSU's defense has played at times, Bama does not impress me much either. You beat Georgia, at Georgia. Good win but Florida just rolled their asses so don't act like you are the Steelers OK.

Ole Miss came back from a 24-0 halftime deficit and had you toothless bastards sitting on your thumbs till 25 seconds left in the 4th......so let's get real here OK?

they had a couple of big plays due to a player being out of position. the rest of the time they did not do much.

plus georgia has a much more balanced attack than bama. their running and passing set up each other.

bama is not anywhere near the same offense.

clemson did not even try to run.
(not to mention they have the 90th ranked rushing game in the nation)

georgia was down early so started throwing a ton.

and ut sucks.
(105th rushing attack)
