He did on 1/9/12. just quit that day.
There was a questionable playcall or 2(give to FB with 3rdn4), but Miles wasn't suited up.
Looked to me like the OL quit. When there wasn't a false start, somebody was whiffing on a block and causing TFL, hurry or sack.
I know watching from your recliner, you think you would've done this or that, but if you don't have the LOS, not much of anything will work with consistency.
Ask any one of the other 11 teams that played LSU in 2011.

I suspect you have a few medical issues you should look into.

For one, you seem to have short term memory loss because you keep repeating yourself and engaging in a non existent dialogue. You also seem very irritable. Could be early Alzheimer's or Dimentia. Lastly, you might want some anti depressants to help with your mood disorder.

Saw the first page. Positive things said about LSU, figured it would not end well on rant. Go straight to last page, rantards insulting our coach and who knows what else. This place sucks awesome

No, this guy is strictly into saying things to rile people up. He may or may not be a fan, but he enjoys seeing people get angry. His intelligence level is low, as stated by a previous poster. If he was smarter he could find more creative ways to troll.

You can't let him get you going. He is the type who will complain just to complain. Even his friends find him annoying, if he has them.

Bingo...just a young guy seeking attention.

LSU football under Nick and now for 7 yrs under Les has soooooooooooo many positives to talk bout it's unreal, but some would rather harp on a few failures/disappointments than alllllllll the positives which now has LSU as one the elite programs all college football, go figure.

I wonder what LSU football some followed from 1975 to 2000.

conversation w/ some louisiana hof guys this week.
NO decent coach wanted to come to lsu b/c of how the fans treated cholly mac.
dp40, if not mentally challenged, is probably physically crippled or emotional damaged and has to take his hate and venom on the rant. he totally represents the "help mac pack" crowd.

if lsu cannot support someone like elm, lsu doesn't deserve a winning coach and will REPEAT 1976-1999.

can the td have a like/dislike button and get fans like dp40 banned?

This year, I think Florida on the road will be like last years 'Bama...Remember '97.....

ETA: I think LSU will win, just a lot of factors in that game; away, former coach that wants to beat your butt, etc....

Look, another god who couldn't be more wrong about who I am or what I think.

It's amazing how butthurt some of y'all are that Miles is not the best coach in the conference and is not this all great high character coach you think he is.

You're lumping some pretty successful years in that timespan. Don't act like that whole era was like the Hallman years.

Besides, I support LSU not "elm' whoever that is. I don't care who the coach is. It's LSU who I support, period.

imho,
moimbtyo.

in my humble opinion, my opinion is much better than your opinion.

your opinion is definitely your opinion. you are filled w/ your opinion. you care what you think.
you are not the kind of person who cares what other people think. you don't even care how others think. you think others should think what you think. you definitely lack compassion, but compassion is a learned behavior and you were probably not raised w/ any compassion. you are critical unforgiving b/c you never received any.
no, i'm not god, just a student of personality disorders. dp40 you show definite symptoms of:
Psychosis is a loss of contact with reality that usually includes:

False beliefs about what is taking place or who one is (delusions)

Seeing or hearing things that aren't there (hallucinations)

and, remember: moimbtyo.

you can keep on thinking that you are right, and that's ok. i don't want to disagree with you, but you do have my compassion.

With Mac, it was a case of be careful what you wish for cause he won 70% of his games and the 5 coaches after him combined to win 55% of their games.

Since 2000, LSU has won 78% of their games. From 2005 till now, LSU has won 81% of their games.

Not hard for me to figure out our glory years to this point...it's now.

The thing that speaks volumes bout Miles is the the LSU glory years have come at the same time as the SEC glory years.

Hopelly Kiper is spot on and this ride of the very best of times in LSU history will continue.

No LSU fan bashes a coach who has won as many games as Les. This guy can't be over 25 because he has no sense of perspective when it comes to LSU football.

Mac's last 5 years were 35-22-1, about 60%. We'll never know what would have been had Bo Rein not died, he was regarded as a very good up and coming coach. Stovall was a stop gap. The Archer hiring really set us back. He was in over his head. After than Joe Dean had firm control and he was penny wise and pound foolish.

Wanting Mac to step aside is justifiable. Just like Bowden should have retired from FSU 5 years earlier. There comes a time to step aside.

Wanting Miles gone now is out right foolish. he has proven to be one of the top 5-10 coaches in the game. He's got LSU in a position to compete for SEC and National titles on a regular basis. The idiots that want to point to 1/9 have no sense of perspective. Spurrier is regarded as a great coach, he lost a NC Game 62-24 and never had an undefeated season. Meyer won 2 NC's at Florida despite not having an undefeated season. Can you imagine the reaction ifMiles had lost at home to Ole Miss as the #1 team with Tebow? He also was #1 and got his arse kicked by 21 in the SEC title game to you know who. Its just silly to judge everything against Saban. He's the best in the biz, but he's not invincible. Miles has got LSU at the same level and has proven he can beat Saban with equally matched teams. LSU has a great shot to win a NC this year and with the way we are recruiting the next couple of years, we should be in contention for the foreseeable future.

This is the golden era of LSU football, sit back and enjoy the ride.

Just don't ask dolphin fans who is the better coach and honestly if saban was here most of you know you would be saying he should be fired cause he doesn't win enough cause you did it before

No real coach would quit on their team or school like that self-loathing Miles. Just the facts, ma'am.

Bruh Saban has had his head scratchers too. In 2010, Saban had the entire 2011 defense, plus a first rd de, first rd wr, heisman winning first rd rb, AND A SENIOR QB WHOM HAD ALREADY WON A TITLE, and he lost 3 games. It's just no one calls Saban out on it. If Miles sucks soooooo bad compared to Saban, how is he 2-1 in the last 3?

ETA: how is Miles 2-1 in the last 3 WITH LESS TALENT?

No doubt it was possible to make a case that Mac was stumbling down the stretch run of his career.

Amen...and no one is enjoying the "golden era" more than me!

I can be disappointed in effort/coaching/players at times, but that doesn't blind me to the fact that the current coach and his players have performed, on the whole, at the highest level in LSU history.

All I can say when a HC is winning at the highest level in our history at the same time the SEC is hands down the best/deepest football conference in college football is....WOW!
