What the hell, who brought up Czick? You for some odd reason.

He went undefeated and won a NC title, an accomplishment you seem think only the truly great, like Saban, can accomplish. The reality is, plenty of coaches have gone undefeated and won the NC. Saban is the best, but he will not win every game or every title.

Reality check was 1/9/12. Game, set, match Saban.

I know that was the happiest day of your life and all, but it was game, set, match for the 2011 BCS CG, nothing more, nothing less. It has no bearing on the 2012 or any other season in the future.

No, its reality. When you lose a game, like Saban did to Miles in November, you need help to get back into position to make the title game. To his credit, when he got that break he took full advantage of it, but it doesn't change the fact that he need the breaks to begin with. To win a NC you need breaks to go your way, that's reality.

quote:

3-3 vs one of the best, in the minds of many, in the game speaks volumes for both coaches when we look at the results in the last 7 yrs. imo

The first 3 years Saban was at Alabama 07, 08, 09, 1 team or the other was clearly better. All the games were close, but the better team won. With basically equal teams, in 2010 and 11 LSU won close games. The disaster of 1/9 doesn't change that fact.

Another god who knows what I think or feel and you would be wrong too. I was pissed at a coach who quit in the biggest game of the year.

True, but he will need great luck and Saban not to be across from him to win another title.

What I don't understand is how the recent teams can be so different than the Saban teams.. they are literally nothing alike.

No real coach would quit on their team or school like that self-loathing Miles.

Just the facts, ma'am.

Facts? Those aren't facts. It's hilarious how you are still so butt hurt about two mediocre qb's.

Self loathing miles? That doesn't even make any sense. Miles isn't out in public acting like a whiny pussy like you.

Miles just lies and makes up stupid shite for quitting in the biggest game of the year. You can't handle it.

I'm still trying to figure out what you are trying to get at. Saban being the best coach in the country? Okay.

But you think you are making some kind of point. Miles is great for lsu now. Continuing to repeat Saban > miles doesn't really say anything.

Miles is 3-3 VS Saban..2-1 in the last 3 . Ya..Miles was stubborn in the BCS and decided to not adjust. But our QB situation really handcuffed him. I would not bet much that he will lose to Saban in Tiger Stadium in a revenge game. And the odds of Bama making it to BCS champ game after losing to LSU in reg season for 2nd straight year will be quite low.

He's a troll. No lsu fan is truly that miserable. Especially in the golden age of lsu football. If he is serious then we should just laugh at losers like that.

Debatable.

It's stating a fact in which some of you want to deny as fact. Why is it so hard for LSU fans to admit Saban is a better coach? It's that not big a deal.

I agree.

I just don't understand as an lsu "fan" why it upsets you that lsu fans don't want to canonize Saban like you do.

Most rational people are happy for what lsu is today. Just seems like you can't let it go.

No, no, and no. Saban never quit. But Miles did quit 1/9/12. Just a simple fact. Not that hard to digest.

My view is fine because I have neither Saban's or Miles' balls in my view. Some of y'all would do well to remove Miles' balls from your mouths though.
