that's what I heard as well

I think mccray will start vs. washington-UL, then taylor could very well take most of his snaps.

I don't think les knows what he wants to do with them yet.

Both teams who've got nothing against our corners, correct -- being that their success will depend on the run?

he was good LAST YEAR when he played safety. he sucks at nickel back
He can't cover, plain and simple. he was exposed at nickle. He can be hidden somewhat at Safety but will still be called on at times to cover guys one on one and will be burned just like he has been every other time. Hiding him at safety doesn't fix his problem of horrible coverage skills. Jeez, rantards.

ala Percy Harvin touchdown last year. If McCray was an inch farther back, he would have made a good play.

that wasn't really his fault, he was supposed to have help over the top, but Taylor and Harry had a habit of biting up on shorter stuff last year.

an did you say you remembered Harry covering slot WRs a lot last yr?

I don't think you understand how rare a true SS is in covering a WR man to man. I'll clue you in: Very, very rare.

His man coverage is much, much more likely to come against a RB, FB, or TE. And if a RB has the time to burn McCray from out of the backfield, that means the QB is probably way too comfy in the pocket.

yeah ik... he was covering the fastest WR in college football. And he did good, until percy made a lucky play.

+1. Say what you want about a SS never covering a reciever but you can bet good coaches like meyer and richt will find a way to make this match up happen. Looks like more of Miles and his feel good reward older player bullshite.

How was Roy Williams in college? Surely teams would've just matched him up one on one and reamed OU's arse on every play.

You can BLOW something out of proportion, but taking it out of proportion may be different, at least to me...
