You'll see Moses before you see Wade win a Natty...
Get a grip.

what the hell have you seen from MM to make this seem likely

I don't think the issue is with x's and o's but with the Jimmies and Joe's.

I find it credible that without NIL money it is hard to win and that LSU wasn't well supported.

if you point out that wade would have had far more money from yelling at the University every single day to arrange donors to support him more, that's probably true.

and if the claim is that the game has passed McMahon by and he is not a proper fundraiser, that might be true too.

but id someone else in the admid takes over the funding and gets some dollars in the program, I think McMahon could win.

I also think wade is easily the best coach in the country. but McMahon is ok.

I disagree on wade being the best coach and some other stuff, but a well reasoned response.

My main gripe is that McMahon has been here 3 years and it's been a failure. Now we are supposed to pretend the last 3 years didnt happen? NIL money is just going to flow in at the same time the program is at its lowest point?

At what point is it on the coach to get what he needs? Beard and Jans walked into MSST and OM and were able to corral enough money to be competitive from day 1.

How much does McMahon actually want to win? Is he able to do the off the court stuff, like court donors?

I know he is mild mannered, but by the end of the season he looked like he didnt care one way or the other.

Yep, last man standing. It might be Matt’s dad.

Plus we already know MM is coming back.

I don't know, after the past 2 weeks, appears the team quit on him. If he comes back next season, will be on a short leash- An early blow out loss or a few conference losses, he may not make it through half the season...

What’s so insulting is that so many other programs are firing coaches for less to try to improve their program. We seem content with the worst coach in P4. It is an ultimate F U to us as fans, season ticket holders and donors. I am done with MBB until a change is made. Keeping MM another year will plunge the program into new depths of apathy not seen. Might as well just shut down the program.

And this was said before he lost 4 straight SEC games by an avg of 21pts per game. That was also said before our 2 young promising players quit. This is all about MONEY

I don't know. maybe he can get more cash, maybe he cant.

I feel like wade could, because he is a maniac driven to win like no one. I think wade would spend 6 hours a day screaming at school officials until they did more fundraising.

if the university decides to fund basketball, without Mcmahon having to drive it, don't see why McMahon cant win.

my key point is that I don't think McMahon is necessarily a bad coach in terms of recruiting and X and O's. I think he is smart. pair McMahon with a staffer who yells at the university all day for support maybe.
