Being an adult and knowing that being the centerpiece of a large award show, they might need to know if you plan on attending or not. It's really not a difficult situation to understand.
Its not difficult to understand that if he didn't say he was coming, that he probably isn't coming. It has nothing to do with being an adult. He probably won't respond to my party invite either. LOL
Its not really news... its a public butt hurt.
(the non-response is a response)

You've made your idiotic opinion clear multiple times. The adults are speaking now

So 3 weeks ago he is going, now he simply hasn’t replied, but has never said no and the organization is melting down? Maybe they are a little overbearing?

Maybe they should have secured a contract instead of talking to his mommy.

LOL
Yes, you're going to show Joe how to run his life.

They really need to know if he wants steak or fish. This is life or death.

Burrow did an interview here in Dallas recently, and he mentioned that he didn't attend his high school prom. When the the interviewer asked him why not, Burrow replied, "I'm not much of an activities guy."
I don't blame Burrow for being tired of stuff like this, but I can see the frustration from the organization, too.

Nobody is trying to show Joe Burrow how to run his life, I don't know why you keep repeating this.

That's exactly what you are trying to do. The world will probably stop if Joe doesn't go to yet another silly awards show... which is really just another business venture.
Heck, I would want money to show up.
Well, I would expect my employer to maybe take out repercussion on me, in this case there doesn't appear to be any legal contract of any kind from which Joe would be breaking.
You do know the difference, right? Probably not by your silly comment.

No, his agent is. And if his agent thinks this is a good idea not to accept an honor, he is an idiot.
Just a bad time and look to be not even replying to national honors.
Let's saying Myles B is up for the award in a year or 2, and it's a close race....you think they will look kindly towards LSU when choosing?

There are literally so many award shows even most sports fans don't even know about them. All this is - is a business venture.
Yeah, you're going to show Joe and his agent how to run their lives.

So what. Its just another silly award business venture. Its like saying Pepsi is going to be pissed if Joe picks Coke.

The lack of definite response looks bad on Joe. Really no excuse. If that is what really happened of course.

Idiot. No one cares if he attends it not....IF the article is accurate, it's a dick move NOT to respond to repeated request to find out if their guest if honor will attend.
There could be charity events auctioning tickets, photo opts, etc. Could be LSU fans flying in to attend, etc etc
They deserved to know if he was attending, especially IF his family indicated he would.

He's just going to accuse you of trying to run Joe's life

Yes, they do care, which is why they are crying.
The non-response is the response, that how life works in the real world. How did you even manage to get your pants on today? Literally, a no response in business is just that... no deal.
They're not going to be happy if he told them, as their whole business is based on getting the top guy there every year.

After this article relationship beyond repair, I wouldn’t travel by plane anyhow

I agree. Don't know what other facts may be out there, but not responding at all is just plain rude. And, no, I'm not buying the "no response is the response". That's BS for this sort of program/event when you are the top honoree.
For crying out loud, Joe has an agent who can take a few seconds to respond on his behalf one way or the other. I think he should attend, but at least respond, so the folks will know.
