They’re the weirdest, most delusional group in LSU fandom history

You pick a game LSU won against Arky in 2022 as your proof of McMahon's prowess. How did that season turn out? How many NCAA tournament games has McMahon coached at LSU? This is a no stakes bet. I bet LSU is in the NIT this year at best. Who thinks they will be in the big dance? If you think the Vandy loss was a fluke, then maybe you think LSU will make the NCAA tournament this year. I place the odds they make the big dance this year at 10% or less. The coaching and roster construction are not what they need to be in his third year. Do you know that our SOS per kenpom is 310. I wouldn't be crowing about how few losses we've had. We are most likely a bottom half SEC team. I would not be surprised if we end up in the bottom 25%. Which SEC teams will be below LSU in the final standings?
You missed the entire point. My point was, people took that win with a grain of salt so why aren’t people doing the same about a loss this year? What were the odds of the season we had last year compared to previous KenPom rankings? Most projected us to finish bottom 3 teams last year. My point is, let this thing play out a few weeks before jumping to conclusions. A week ago everyone was fired up and now we have a bad home loss to a good team and everyone is ready for full on mutiny. It makes zero sense. Not saying there won’t be a time to do that, it’s just not now. We can return the favor this weekend, chill out.

Carter and Sears are better without question and there’s an argument Miller and Chest are better players as well. The only reason people like you are elevating him is because it makes for a good excuse in your minds.
______________
I have watched all our games and disagree. I like this team, and the players you mention. It can be hard to say which player is best when they play different positions. Carter and Sears can get hot, and Chest is fun to watch. One can make an argument for the guards, but Reed was steady and very good all-around player. I would say the most important, even if agreeing the guards are in the discussion.Bringing Miller into it is a stretch.

A first year coach at lowly Vandy
________
Dude, we aren't talking football. Vandy is not lowly in basketball. Baseball, either.
